What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

My sister is looking for a novel that she seems to think is about drag queens and/or transvestites...it has a funny title, the author was male [and has written other books], possibly a mystery, the characters may have been on the run from someone/something?

Any guesses will be deeply appreciated!

It may be Pawn to Queen Four by Lars Eighner.It is a great book they actually have many scenes of running from but if memory serves they are trying to bring down a right wing nut case.

Even if this isn't the book I recommend she read it, it is awesome. It could also be the book Drag Queen but Robert Rodi another good book.
