Twilight has been more and more sucessfull but I don't know if it could have more fans than Harry Potter. It's hard. But lets see!
I think that twilight will get more hits because the book is so popular. Not that harry potter wasnt a popular book its just that mostly girls go to movies and mostly girls read the book. Also that i dont think that harry potter was written is as many languges as twilight.
Well, HP used to be my favorite series...but since I read Twilight, it's gone to my 2nd. Twilight is my fav.

I totally agree with Tianna. The only reason I think Harry Potter is better is because the writing is so much better and teh story has a lot more depth and complexity to it.Im not saying Twilight is bad, but Harry Potter is more meaningfull

I disagree with you there. I think that Stephenie Meyer's writing style is much more mature and sophisticated then Rowling's. Meyer also has a better vocabulary. And even if Rowling's plot is more complicated, I find that I like Meyer's more...
I love both Harry Potter and Twilight. I love the HP movies and I think it has a bigger fan base because it catered to all genders and ages. I remember going to the first HP movie and there were 5 year olds up to grandparents age. I don't see that happening when Twilight comes out. So I think the HP movie will do a lot better, but at the same time I can wait for HP to come out on video and I don't want to wait for twilight to come out on video I am seeing it opening weekend!
I both a HP fan and Twilight fan.But, I have to say when I got done with the last book of HP my first thought was "Twilight is way better than this."
To this day I still think Twilight is much, much better than HP.

IDK. Twilight is already a huge thing and there's not even previews out as far as i know, but Harry Potter is totally popular and (also as far as I know) the books sold more than the Twilight books. Plus there's more of them . . .
Also, I totally LOOVE Harry Potter and I have read all of the books so many times!!!! I know some people are going to be all "Why are you in the Twilight book club if you like Harry Potter more?" My answer is, I love both!P.S. Daniel Radcliffe is soooooo annoying, that's one thing against the movies!!!

R U CRAZY!!!!!! Twilight is so much better than Harry Potter! I could hardly stay awake through the Harry Potter series, but i couldn't put Twilight down! My vote goes for Twilight...obviously!:)

Twilight is soo much better!If you wanna get technical, When Twilight came out in 2006 It actually threw Harry potter and the order of the Pheonix of the number1 book spot in both Britain and America, and HP never recovered that spot because the twilight saga continues to dominate (ecept of course HP and the Deathly Hallows) which did hit number one for a little while.

Harry Potter SUCKS compared to Twilight. Even the thought that a book is beeter than Twilight makes me mad. Twilight is the best series in the world and the only reason it hasn't blown Harry Potter away is because it's kinda a chick book, but not at the same time, but boys r stupid and so when they hear about a book about love they atimaticly assume its for chicks. So in conclusion TWILIGHT ROXS THE SOCK OFF OF HARRY POTTER AND EVERY OTHER BOOK IN THE WORLD!

But i did beat Harry potter, and when the Twilight film comes out in december, (about 2 weeks after HP and the Half Blood Prince) they both have to compete at the Box office, and i think Twilight will win hands down!
Harry Potter used to be my favorite series, but then I read Twilight and I like it a little bit more. I still love HP, but Harry can't compete with Edward!!!! or Emmett, or Jasper, or Carlisle, haha
TWILIGHTI actually dont like Harry Potter at all now that I've read Twilight...I absolutely HATED the ending of the 7th book... Does anyone know if they are making anymore HP movies?
TWILIGHT will totally get it, because in the Harry Potter movies, because the first one is so old, it just isn't good enough, the special effects are wierd, but I personally think the 5th one is the best one because it's newer.
And because Catherine Hardwick knows that a lot of people are counting on this like Harry Potter, she's going to try her best to make it way better

Thanks Callie! I think that Twilight will do a lot better than Harry Potter, just because its been all over the news lately! Harry Potter will do good too though...Cause they have some fans that have been dying for that movie too...Should be interesting to see which movie earns more money! I will be missing out on both those movies in december tho! I am going to be in Italy all of next year, they better have it there!!!

yes, i do think that Twilight will do better, and I have to say, I hate the Harry Potter movies. As for the books, I think that they are written better. I had one friend say (and I dont agree but I see her point) that "The entire book is bella being whiny".Because it's written in first person, it's harder not to be whiny.
I dont know...I like them both, but I think that Harry Potter takes my vote.

Twilight is a great story, and I'm sure the movies will be excellent as well, but Harry Potter (as a series) is definitely better. It will go down in history as the single greatest contribution to children's/YA literature in this generation. No contest.

I'm going to read Twilight and I've already read the Harry Potters. I always thought of the movies as kind of a joke haven't seen the 5th one yet though and people say thats the best. I don't know anything about Twilight but people are saying it's great so I'm reading it.
They're different. I think I'm going to like the Twilight movie better though.
