David Rivas, 603The book The Face on the Milk Carton by: Caroline B. Cooney is a good book but I think it needs more characters. The book should be more specific to the details of the book. I think that she really did good in the book is the cliffhanger in the end of the book because in the middle of the book she tries to tell her real mom where she is and if she is okay, and in the end of the story she calls her and tells her who she is. I think if she gave more good details the book would have been better than what the book is now. Even though the book needed more stuff I still liked the book.
At the beginning of the story Janie takes her friend’s milk carton and finds her face on the milk carton because they put faces on the milk carton that have been kidnapped. She tells her friends and none of them believe her because they say she is not kidnapped. Janie always feels that she is one year younger than her friends so it could be true. That’s what I thought when I read the paragraph in the book. In the middle she tells her friend Reeve to take her to New Jersey to remember what happened. They also went there to find Janie’s real mother and tell her that she is okay.
In conclusion, the book is really good and I wish that you would read it. I am not going to tell the ending I want you to find the book and find out. The book is really good you should really read the book.

The Face on the Milk Carton is about a girl named Jane Johnson who found her face on a milk carton. Jane likes to change her name around, so she changed it to Janie Johnson. In the book Janie falls madly in love with her next door neighbor Reeve Shields. Janie and Reeve make up and break but they still truly love each other.
I thought this book was interesting. The Face on the Milk Carton was one of my favorite books. I like the way the author showed the connection between Janie and Reeve growing throughout the story. In the story Janie and Reeve went from friends, to best friends, into a couple, broke up, and then became a stronger couple. The author also showed how Janie wanted to be like her friends. In the story Janie wanted her name to be like her friends Adair O’Dell and Sarah-Charlotte Sherwood. The author also showed Janie’s relationship between her and her mother. Janie and her mother were close then Janie saw the milk carton the she held it in for to long and her and her mother grew apart.
