Sname had a horrible personality, but actually he was a very good person.
Snape was good. Bad personality.
Snape was hard to figure out, but good.
I don't know why I liked him so much, but I really did! He was very mysterious; most of the time, you could tell who was good and who was bad pretty easily, but Snape always kind of kept me wondering. Plus, he taught potions, which I would have loved to take.
Snape had a secrative character & everybody had to either like him or hate him or both! I hated him after he killed Dumbledore but once i discovered why & why he was so mean to Harry & what pain he had gone through, I relized i liked him. Snape only hated Harry because Harry reminded him of James & of what he had done to Lily. Snape must've been a little happy to die because he wouldn't have to face that anymore.
yeah it mad me fell bad for him
no, i dont think so... but i mean what do popular teenage boys do to non-cool weirdos? i mean i love snape, but i cant help but think he was an awkward teen.
What James did wasn't very nice, but neither was what Snape did to Lily. The whole thing's so confusing. I hated Snape til the very end of the 7th book. Then i found out he wasn't all that bad.
i never realy liked Snape, and i was so mad at him when he was teachinh Harry Occlumancy! But at the same time, in all the books we always thought he was the one crating all the problems to later discover he was helping to solve them! it was like he didn't want to be taken as a "good" person, but he couldn't help it =) so we always saw his "bad" side until the very end.i'm whith Dumbledore, when he says that he was sorry Snape had been sorted a Slytherin, because if he had ended up in another house, i'm sure he would've turned a very diffrent person
It's funny, though, because without Snape there would be no 'Chosen One', It would just be Harry and his family, and there would be no story. Because Snape was the one who told Voldemort about the prophecy.
So if Snape was sorted into a different house, there might be no 'Chosen One' at all.

You're right. I guess that would not be a good thing because Voldemort would still be alive. There are so many little parts that are important to the whole story.
Yep. There were a LOT of those little pieces in Harry Potter...
lol you have a point there, but still, i thing that if even one tiny bit of the story had been different, all the rest would be doomed.
But Snape didn't kill Dumbledore for Voldemort. Dumbledore was already dying, so Snape did him a favor by killing him.
Well he did do it on purpose... But because Dumbledore asked him to. I was really surprised that Snape wasn't a bad guy, though, in the end.
Yeah... We didn't need another Voldemort with a billion Horcruxes and all that... :D

i never liked snape. ever. come on, lily was one girl. get over it. and he needs to wash his hair. although the hate harry had for him was entertaining :P stupid mouldy voldy
hey, i cried, screamed, broke pencils, threw the book across the room when snape died! i love him so much i wish he never died :( i thought it was nice how harry named his child albus severus after snape. love him♥

"No, Snape killed Dumbledore because the girl ( I am drawing a space and forgot her name ) was going to kill Malfoy if Malfoy didn't kill Dumbledore and so Snape stepped in and killed him for Malfoy because he made the unbreakable vow to Malfoy's mother and swore to protect Malfoy with Snape's own life.

e.g Without him Harry might have died, and he was a brave man.
