(Laughs) What does it sound like? I am unable to put up unfinished works (my longer fiction) because even if you like it, I still have to have a cohesive whole to call it even 'decent.' I am at the point where I need everything to be perfect. AND, I am far from there. If I can finish a whole novel with all the parts making sense in that world, then it is successful on one level. If I can accomplish that, I can correct most other shortcomings (I think!???). More sure of my style. Even bad sentences occur when you are not sure of your characters and who is driving the novel. So, in short, I am chicken, till I have the whole thing nailed down. I know what ails it - but it is not enough to put up a chapter. I have a lot of versions - and I need to work it out, first, to even ask an opinion.
Well, I will post more poems - I am not chicken of that. Cause I have come to accept my level talent, limitations, mistakes. I know when something is weak or not as weak, or good. It is not so easy with a longer work, or even a short story. For me, short stories are the hardest to master. But, I'd love to write a 'passing one.' I am chicken of that, too!

OK... i think ppl are misunderstanding... I HAVE NOT POSTED THE LAST CHAPTERS OF SOUL STEALER YET!!! I HAVE FINISHED IT BUT I STILL HAVE MORE TO POST--YOU WILL KNOW IT IS THE END WHEN IT SAYS 'EPILOGUE' and 'the end' of course!!!!!!
