Luann, a lot of people are reading my new racing mystery, FULL MORTALITY, and seem to really like it. You could give it a test ride by reading the first chapter at http://fullmortality.blogspot.com/ Hope you will give it a look, it is starting to get some good reviews on Amazon.com.
I just finished a Robert Crais mystery, THE FIRST RULE, that I thought was very good.
Best to all and bye for now, Sasscer Hill
Agatha Christie's "ABC Murders" was the first murder mystery I ever read. Murder in England is her area of expertise. Her two greatest detectives are the Belgian, Hercule Poirot, and the old English spinster, Miss Jane Marple. Many of the books are availabe on audio book from Amazon. However I can most strongly recommend the Miss Marple series on BBC DVD starring Joan Hickson (whom Dame Agatha always envisaged in the role). David Suchet has the aim of portraying Poirot in all the books written about him. I recommend the full-length stories. A slightly more whimsical portrayal is by Peter Ustinov. Whatever, her books are supreme in her genre.Regards
Chris Jones
Thanks for the recommendation, Sasscer. I'll have to check that out.

ETA: Ha! Others have been thinking along the same lines. I just found a new group here on GR that started last week called Agatha Christie Challenge. I'm going to join and start posting my progress there. Join in, if you like! It should be fun.
