Ryodan is one guy that seems to be around a lot in Dreamfever but you never really quite know how to picture him. Ill see if I can find the description Mac gives when she first meets him at Chester's.

I dont think he is quite as powerful as Barrons but he's probably pretty darn close. He's another mystery man. KMM loves to keep us suspended with all these dark, sexy, mysterious hotties!

OK First Mac is describing him "Like Barrons and my escorts, Ryodan was tall, well built. I wonder if it was a requirement to be whatever they were: no wimps allowed. He wore dark pants and a crisp white shirt, sleeves rolled up on thickly muscled forearms." And then when she is up close, "Handsome, chilling man. His eyes were the clearest Id ever seen." He also has a scar that stretches up his left side from his shoulder to his ear.
I cant find any mention of his hair! Grrr. Will keep looking. Unless anyone else remembers anything?
Obviously Barrons is the main man we all lust over but I have a special spot for Ryodan as well. I hope he gets a spin off series. (Thats who I voted for!!) I can't wait to find out more.
Ryoden comes across to me as having a skull trim. Paige - I think you are right, He is perfect for a spin-off. There is an entire pack of these beasty babes that could be included.
Ok so this guy is a the guy off of Tudors from showtime and he has the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen...they are light, but have kinda a purplish tint to them. Can't find a pic that show his eyes well though ;(
Does anyone think thatit might not actually be Ryodan recuing her, but that it is Darroc tricking her. How could Ryodan track Barrons mark? It would make more sense that he was tracking his own mark. Why was he hiding from the beast and trying to kill it. It makes more sense that he would have been an enemy and that the beast shoul d have trusted him. It just feels fishy, especially after that clift hanger ending wondering who the beast turned into.

Ok..so in my second read through Dreamfever I notice that when Jericho comes to the abbey to get Mac and his men are with him...from Dani's point of view"One of 'em looks like Death himself, with white hair, pale skin, and hot dark eyes that assess restlessly, incessantly. They fix on me."

No this is not Ryodan. I don't hink he was there. Because the first time he sees Dani is after Mac gets unpriya. Remeber he says he has never seen anything like her before when they are holding her in that room at Chester's and he seems very interested in Dani. Even told Mac things were interesting again and that he might considered waiting for Dani to grow up. I think Dani would have mentioned that she saw him when they came to the abbey. He could have been there thought because doesn't Dani say something about how many men there were that were like Barrons. Go back to where they go to chester's they describe him a little, but I don;t think he is the white haired one, I think that is a guy called Lor. Can't termeber for sure. in Shadowfever a lot of the Barronish guys are described more. Because they are all at Chester's a lot and working to gether to get the book.
I think it was Lor too. Mac also mentions something about Lor looking very scary like that when she first meets him.
I sorta answered my own question second time through the books. In Shadowfever when Mac comes to Chester's she is greeted at the bottom of the stairs by the pale white-haired guy and Lor and Ryodan is at the top of the stairs. Guess we don't have a name for Paley yet!
She listed a few names. Was it the one that doesn't speak? i can't remember the other men's names.
Kasteo is the one that doesn't speak. I don't think its him because she always refers to him as the pale haired one. We see him again when Ryodan talks to Dani in the water tower. Its not Lore either because he was standing next to Lor when we saw him at Chesters. Fade is the only other name I remember but again I would think she would refer to him by name rather than description. Guess we will find out in the future!
I love Ryo and waiting for Iced is killing me!!!
So Iced is here...can we discuss Ryodan some more?!? Is it possible he is even more methodical than Barrons?
Ryodan really rubbed me the wrong way in Iced. He came across as an abusive, controlling asshole. I'm disappointed because I did actually like him in the Fever books and looked forward to reading more about him.
I actually love him more now, if that is even possible. But I can understand how his behaviour can make people dislike him. I'm wondering how he killed Velvet. I also wonder if there will be more to him and R'jan. You know the whole "You will swear fealty to me" scene.
I want to know what his agenda is.
I think he killed Velvet by sucking his blood out of his body. I still think that the nine are some sort of vampires. I thought that when Mac was near death (when she ate the unseelie). I think that Barrons was about to turn her when she told him to feed her the unseelie. And, when Dani asks Ryodan to make her like him, he tells her to ask him again in a few years.
I think the reason Ryodan wants Dani to ask him again in a few years is that she will then be old enough for him and won't age further if he should make her one of them.
I like the darker aspects of Ryodan...they make things much more interesting. I'm still not against a pairing with Dani but the circumstances have to be right. She can pair up Ryodan and still keep him a badass motherf*cker. Guess I just have to put my faith in KMM.

This whole concept of Ryo doing everything with the intention of some day being with Dani in the biblical sense is just odd to me. (and I know so many people disagree,so this is just my opinion) Honestly, if the bottom line of the Dani trilogy is just taking us to Ryo and Dani eventually becomming lovers, than this series has run the course or Paranormal and jumped headfirst into romance. Not cool.
I also think it's possible she is one of the 9, but i don't think Ryo can turn her into the 9 (like a vampire??)
I am thinking Dani is going to make a progression into her new powers slowly, and when she is old enough to get it (possibly have the same powers too) then Ryo will walk her/mentor her through it.
(you know, i am sure I will NOT be shocked that all my theories will be wrong, as usual...LOL)

So, during and after reading ICED, I am seriously still struggling to see how Ryodan looks like. I want to get a solid image of him! Because when I read, it rolls in my head like a movie, and Ryodan's face is a blur for me. I know he is as tall and built as Barrons, and looks like death. That's all I can recall. How are you all picturing him? Any celebrity/ or male model out there that helps you see Ryodan as a "reference"?

It was mentioned several times that his eyes are very light.
