Vampire Romance Lovers discussion

I'm currently readingThe Companion I love regency Romances and this blends that time frame with vampires so it's right up my street, plus alot of the story takes place in North Africa which it gives it quite an original twist.

I just finished reading Kiss Me Forever by Rosemary Laurey...not that great. I was hoping for more romance between the main characters and was highly disappointed!

I've just read the blurb for this as *hangs head in shame* I'm not familiar with this author, so what are they like? are they like the Sookie books where vampires are out of the coffin so to speak and mingle with the humans?
