Olivia was sitting in the park.

((that sounds awsome! vampires made in a lab?))

Ashley was on a camping trip with her parents. She didn't know what was about to happen, when she got off the trail. She left her parents at their tent, and started walking through the woods alone. Suddenly someone walked up behind her and grabbed her by her hair. The man told her not to scream, or she would die. Ashley didn't scream, but she wanted to badly. She wanted to scream for help at the top of her lungs. Then the man pushed her on the ground. Ashley hit her back hard on the dirt, to her it felt like concrete.

Olivia smelled blood, and ran. She caught up to Max in short time. "Run!" she yelled, grabbing her right arm and running.

The man looked up at the girl. He looked back down at Ashley. The back up. "Would you like a snack?"

Ashley started to breath deeply, she tried to get up, but she couldn't the man slammed her back down in an instance. Ashley cried out in pain. He turned his head towards, the girl. "Your thirsty. I can tell." He cocked his head. "Want to join me?"

Olivia snarled, stepping back.

"Well, if you don't want to join me, I'll have her to myself." The man said. He moved Ashley's hair out of her face. "This might hurt a little." He said. He sunk his teeth into her neck. She cried out in pain. He began to drink from her. Ashley stared breathing very heavy, more than normal. I'm going to die, she thought.

Olivia's fangs grew out at the scent of blood. She covered her nose with her arm, stepping back.

The man didn't take all of her blood. But Ashley fell unconscience, when he was done. He left her out in the middle of the woods. Ashley was beginning to change into a vampire.

Olivia followed him, staying by Ashly as she turned.

Ashley had her eyes closed. She felt dead, but she was still breathing. She opened her eyes, and looked around, she could see things more clearer. But how? Why? She looked over and seen a girl standing beside her. She gasped.

"It's okay. Your one of us now." she said, pulling her sleeve up past her wrist to show the marks.

"One of you? What-what am I?" Ashley asked her. She was scared to death for what the girl was about to say.

"Your a child of the Night." she said.

"What do you mean?" Ashley asked her furious, and scared, and nervous, all at the same time

"Welcome to the world of vampires" Olivia said.

Ashley looked down shaking her head. "No, your joking. This has got to be a joke, a dream."

"If this was a dream, you woldn't have just died a moment ago." Olivia said. "You wouldn't have gotten hurt."

"Well-you you can die in dreams." Ashley said, she didn't want it to be true.

"But you can't see yourself die in dreams, it's a proven fact."Olivia said.

"So..."

"Who would pull this kind of joke on you, nearly killing you? How could you dream this up? Blood still runs through your vains, but it's notthe blood of the living." Olivia said.

Ashley put her head in between her knees. And sobbed.

Olivia waited for her to calm down. "Everyone is like this in the begining, Ashly." she said.

"No...I want to die!"

Olivia grabbed her wrist. "You are not going to die, your not going to kill yourself. This is normal, you want to kill yourself, it's not easy. Fall off a building, your bones will mend. Slit your wrists, unless every drop of blood is taken, you wont die." she said.

"I don't want to be like this!"

"Doyou think I wanted this? Do you think anyone wants this?" Olivia yelled.

"I don't know!" Ashley yelled back. "I'm scared okay?"

"You won't be scared forever, so don't even think of killing your self." Olivia said. She turned around. "You have to be strong."

Ashley started to shake her head but stopped. "I don't want to kill people."

"You don't have to." Olivia said.

"Well, than how-how will I survive?" Ashley asked her.

The man who changed Ashley, was near them. Damon watched how the girl freaked out, about the news. He thought Ashley was hot, which is why he changed her. But she did smell sweet too.

"That's verry speacist, just so you know. I drink animal blood." she said.

"Whats speacist? And I thought vampire's drink human blood?" Ashley asked her.

Damon watched them continually until it was the right time.

"That's still kind of mean. We differ in choices of diets." Olivia said.

"Well...I'm thirsty now." Ashley said softly.

When Damon heard what Ashley just said, he thought he should go over to them.

"Do you want to go hunting?" Olivia asked.

Damon came out of the shadows, and walked over to them. "Hello Ladies." He said. "You." Ashley said, and started to back away.

Olivia snarled, moving in front of Ashly.

"Ah don't be scared." Damon said walking towards them.

Olivia moved to block him from Ashly. "What do you want?" she asked.

"Her," He said. "She's my girl." He said looking in Ashley's eyes. "Aren't you?" He said, and used compulsion on her. "Yes I am." Ashley said.

"Well, I'm teaching her. She doesn't need to learn how to kill innocent people for kicks." Olivia said, grabbing her wrist.

Ashley was in a trance, "Let go of me." Ashley told Olivia. Damon smiled. "Come here hun." He said.

Olivia knew the trick. She kept her grip stronger. "I wont let you destroy her. You tried tempting me and that other girl with human blood. You know that no one can resist that." Olivia said.

"I did not do that, did I Ashley?" He asked her. She shook her head. "No you did not." She turned to Olivia, let go of me. I am fine." She told her trying to get out of her grip.

"It doesn't matter if you lie, I know, and I stopped myself." Olivia said, grip tightening.
