Girl with a Pearl Earring Tracy Chevalier
and Hypnose by Lars Kepler

i read the girl with a pearl earring when it was first released and enjoyed it.

Hi Grada...sometimes life interferes with the best laid plans, doesn't it? My June was lower by far than my usual month. Life was busy happening! I tried to read Girl with a Pear Earring when it first came out, but lost patience with it. What do you have on your tbr pile? Need any suggestions? We're really good at blowing through your book budget here!

I also read The Girl With a Pearl Earring many years ago and loved the language as well as the story, although it was a slow read.

I listened to TGWAPE and loved it, so interesting and I felt like I learned about Vermeer even though it was fiction.
