Some questions to get the discussion going:
1. Have you read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? How did your knowledge --- or lack of knowledge --- about that novel affect your reading of this one?
2. Discuss the prologue. What did you think was going on? At what point did you fully understand it? (or do you understand it yet)
3. On page 22, Larsson writes, “Within mathematics, assertions must always be proven mathematically and expressed in a valid and scientifically correct formula.” What does this have to do with the plot of the novel? Why is Salander so intrigued by mathematics?

1. one would need to read the first book to understand where the characters are coming from. You would not understand why "millineium" is in debt with Salander. The only difference is that this book is more centered onto what has happpened with Salancer.
2. the prologue could have been when "all the evil" happened or that about Zala. What do you think about "all the evil" and her sexuality (bisexual)?
3. I think that proof of math has to have to do with the proof of why/who (if not Salander) that killed the journalist and her guardian.
