message 2: by Donna (new)

Donna (dag57) | 28 comments I love Dean! Let me know how you like it and if it's worth buying.....I am reading Middlesex right now and really like it so far.....

message 3: by Mona (new)

Mona | 32 comments Hi! Welcome! I am reading a few books right now- The Thirteenth Tale, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Solomon Sisters Wise Up, Babyville... I am always reading 3 or 4 books at a time.

When I worked in the library, I remember re-shelfing Dean Koontz books all the time. I have never read one though. Enjoy!

Heather (pinkprincessmommy) | 20 comments I am reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyer and Silent Night by Mary Higgins Clark.

I recently finished:

Quarterlife Crisis by Alexandra Robbins and I Love You, You Idiot by Cathy East Dubowski.

I have never read Koontz, but my fiance loves the Odd Thomas series and has been begging me to read it and I just might!

message 5: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (ckd518) I just finished Sisters by Danielle Steel (thanks, Susan!). It was really good....better than some of her other stories....not completely as predictable. I am currently in between reads and getting caught up on my magazines and schoolwork!

message 6: by Mona (new)

Mona | 32 comments Sisters is on my to-read list! So it was good?

message 7: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (ckd518) Yes, it was good. The thing I found with reading her stories in the past is that they are all the same....someone is at the top of their field, they fall in love, get pregnant, then get married, then they break up because something bad happens. Very predictable. Also, something I can't relate to....I'm not a supermodel or at the top of the fasion industry, LOL! This story was believable and it showed how the sisters banded together following a family tragedy. I enjoyed it and wish more of Danielle Steel's books were like that. I hope you enjoy it, too!

message 8: by Mona (new)

Mona | 32 comments Thank you! I love stories about sisters or friends helping each other through... I never had a sister, only good friends and I love reading stories about the special bond. I do have 2 daughters(and 1 son) so I can see the bond first hand now. Thanks again! :)

Hi everyone! I just joined today and am looking forward to finding new authors and hopefully new friends along the way! I didn't realize how many people from Michigan are here! I'm currently reading, Lethal Lies by Laurie Breton. I love mystery, romantic suspense and some paranormal.

Has anyone heard of or read Terri Blackstock? I saw she had a Cape Refuge series and that she writes Christian Fiction ... Thought I would check before I went out looking for her books!
