Okay. Have you guys seen/heard about her new book, The Gathering ?? It looks so good! I can't wait for it.

I'm so excited, from what i've read it sounds completly different to the darkest powers seris which i was kind of worried about.

Just FYI:
There are 10 copies of The Gathering up on the giveaways/first reads list.

The book is good- similar to DP, but I think it definately has potential and I'm exicted for the next books (especially because Chloe and Derek are coming back)

*Kelley had a video contest a few months ago (on blog) and I won 2nd place and an ARC :}- reviewed it on goodreads

The Gathering is out today people! Hopefully I get my copy 2morro.
This book will be up for group read in a few days although I'm sure many of you have already started reading it :)

I read this two weeks ago, Amazon delivered it to me early. The UK cover felt wonderful in my hands, the cover and pages feel very soft and smooth to the touch. The story was good but it had a frustratingly slow build up and I disliked Maya's love interest, Rafe. I much preferred her best friend, Daniel. Not sure if there's supposed to be a love triangle. And of course, there's a cliffhanger.

Just got the book today finally, but I keep having to put it down to prepare for college tomorrow.

So far I'm surprized how different Maya is to Chole. Saying that I do prefer chole, so I wish they were similar (but then I'd problaly complain). I'm liking Daniel, he very protective but in a sweet way.

I'm surprize that KA come up with a new species, at least at this point I think she has, she could just be very modified version of something else.

Does any one else think that Daniel is sercretly in love with Maya and there going to be another love triangle, like with Simon and Derek.
I think she'll choose Rafe, with all the running for there lives that is sure to come there going to patch up there differences pretty quickly.

I like the fact that Kelley has created a new supernatural and that we'll all learn about it as Maya does.

Throughout the book I kept trying to guess which of the characters were the supernaturals (all the kids counldn't have been experiments but why create a whole town) and how the town/parents were in on.
I guessing the people in the helicopter are the supernaturals and that now there going to be move to another type of Lyle house.

I'm hoping Daniel is secretly in love with Maya and if he is she better choose him and not Rafe.

I dont think Daniel likes Maya or vice versa. I just didnt get the vibe that you guys got *shrugs*

Yh I did grow to like him. I felt bad for him because he has to look after himself and his sister at such a young age. I had to keep reminding myself that he was only 16. He's made lote of mistakes so he's not perfect which makes him a believabe character. I hope that him and Maya eventually get together :)

I just finished this book!!!! I love Rafe! He and Maya have very pretty chemistry together. I hope Maya will end up with Rafe! Seriously! :D
