Q&A with Amanda Hocking discussion

In interviews, I get asked a lot who would I like to see play the characters in a film adaptation. I make a pretty good list, but whenever it comes to Jack, I draw a blank. Nobody ever feels quite right to me.

So do you guys have any suggestions for Jack? (Or any other character, for that matter.)

I still think Andy Gibb. The good new's is he's dead, so being a vampire can't be that hard. =) You could use a look a like and let someone have the chance to make it big in their acting career.

How about Johnny Pacar as Jack?

Cameron Bright as Peter?

I am not sure about Lucas Grabeel as Milo,
I am not trying to "bust your chops" but, I just don't see it...
let me ponder this actor for a little while longer and I will get back to you ; )

I agree with Amanda, Jack does seem like a difficult character to
cast, those pink chucks seem hard shoes to fill, the actor should
be medium height to tall, lean and dark, yet be in touch with his feminine side as well as masculine side with a side order of playfulness.. hummmm, that's difficult, who could it be?
The jury is still out.

p.s. I could see Kiowa Gordon playing Bobby.If you goto yahoo images and type in: "2010 MTV Movie Awards or goto this link, this is the picture that made me think of Bobby, I think it is the hair style.

I think Johnny Pacar he would be GREAT as Jack.
He could rock the pink, the playful and the SMOLDER.

I think it's too hard to pick, haha! I do really like Johnny Pacar.I haven't watched Make It or Break It at all this season, but I did enjoy him on the show.

And Joe Slaughter definitely has the eyes for Peter.

But I agree. We should come up with a poll or something. This is much too hard to do alone, haha.

BUT.
He just looks his age to me, I don't see that boyishness that Amanda describes as Jack.
That picture U have of Johnny Pacar is not Jack.

His eyecolor is right, his hair is naturally unruly looking and he is gorgeous, in a non threatening way....

He is no Johnny Pacar but Rick Malambri is nice to look at and I know he doesnt have the right eye coloring.

If we keep seeing the wrong guy for Jack,
doesn't that make it that much easier to see the Right one, right? =)

I personally think Christian Cooke would be a pretty good Peter.

I think James McAvoy would be a good Jack...I think he could really BE that character, but, not tall enough, wrong hair color, and too well known.

Christian Cooke is nice looking but, I think Tom Hughes would be a better choice to play Peter, he has more depth in his face.

I LOVE Danielle Panabaker she is an incredible actress and she would be perfect as Alice. Plus, I think she would look believable as a love interest for both Johnny Pacar and Emile Hirsch.

Johnny Pacar still has my vote.
