Brokenwind padded out into the clearing and walked to the fresh-kile pile,he selected and juicy vole and took it to a shaded area.

Silverstrip entered the camp, two birds hanging from her mouth. She spotted Brokenwind and ran up to him, happiness shimmering in her eyes. She laid down her kill on the pile and turned to him "Hey, Brokenwind, do you want to share a meal?"

He smiled and nodded to his mate "Yes,That would be great!" he said and flicked his tail at the vole.

She nodded and picked up the vole, turning and walking to the warriors den, beckoning with her tail for him to follow.

Ravenpaw yawned and padded out of the apprentices' den.

Brokenwind follwed her and layed down,so their pelts didn't have any space between them.

Silverstripe smiled, affectionatly licking her mate's ear before turning to the vole and taking a bite.

Ravenpaw looked around.

Brokenwind purred and bent his head to take a bite.He rolled his eyes in delight as the flavors danced around his mouth.He licked his lips and let Silverstripe take a bite.

Ravenpaw sighed.

Silverstripe pulled back, chewing the bite she had taken to let her mate have some as well.

Goldenpelt padded from the warriors den, smiling at how the sun shone that day. He saw Ravenpaw looking around and smiled, walking up the the apprentice. "Looking for someone?" he asked gently.

Ravenpaw nodded. "do you know where my mentor is?" he asked.

He shook his head. "No, I haven't." he said.

"Oh." Ravenpaw sighed.

Goldenpelt felt sorry for the apprentice. "But, if you would like, I would be more than happy to take you out training." he offered.

Ravenpaw brightened up. "That'd be great!" he jumped around happily.

Goldenpelt smiled then flicked his tail towards the entrance. "Come on then. Would you like to hunt or train?"

"You choose." Ravenpaw said without hesitating.

The warrior nodded. "Okay, how we'll do some training."

Ravenpaw nodded.

Goldenpelt led them to the camp entrace. "We'll head over to the Great Sycamore."

"Ok." he replied.

Goldenpelt emerged from the tunnel and began running.

Ravenpaw ran after her.

Brokenwind purred and took a bite.Soon the mouse was all gone and he turned to her, "Wanna go for a walk?"

Ravenpaw panted.

Goldenpelt looked behing him, seeing that the apprentice was following, then turned and continued.

Silverstipe nodded and stood, streaching slightly. "Yeah, that sounds nice."

Ravenpaw tripped on a root.

Brokenwind smiled and yawned, "Okay,Wanna go to the lake?"

Ravenpaw tried to get up.

Goldenpelt slowed down slightly. Soon, the apprentice would be as fast as him, but he needed time for that.

She nodded. "Yes."

Ravenpaw couldn't get up.

"Okay,Great!" He said and began to walk to the camp entrance.

Ravenpaw groaned.

Goldenpelt padded to the apprentice. "Are you okay?" he asked gently.

She smiled and followed next to her mate.

"Yes. I just tripped over a root. Let's keep going." he tried to get up but he couldn't.

Brokenwind pressed his pelt against her's and twined tails with her.

Goldenpelt shook his head, grabbing Ravenpaw by the scruff and pulling him to his paws.

Silverstripe purred as she nuzzled her head against her mates' fur, gladly accepting his tail.

Ravenpaw's paws shook.

Golden pelt sighed. "We should get you back. You probably hurt yourself with that fall."

Ravenpaw nodded.

Goldenpelt moved next to the apprentice, letting Ravenpaw use him for support if necessary.

Ravenpaw limped back to camp.

Goldenpelt followed slowly next to the other. "Does it hurt a lot?" he asked.

"Yes." he replied.

"Okay, I've had a little experiance with medicine, so it's probably a sprain." Goldenpelt said softly.

Brokenwind smiled and once they got to the lake,he put his feet in the cold water, "So nice for such a hot day."

Silverstripe smiled and jumped into the water, landing a few feet away from Brokenwind. "Yes, it does feel nice."

He laughed and dove into the water,head first.
