I hate to say it, but this is another series I have trouble remembering what happened. I know I like it and it keeps me entertained, but I just can't remember what happens! I seem to do that with a lot of books. Someone got kidnapped...right? And Zara trapped them in the woods?

Amanda (amandag123) loved the first book but am totally unhappy with the second book, it was good writing but just too sad for me. i need the third one to be better! i am a sucker for happy endings. Holly, i do the same thing with books. i remember if i liked it or not but most of the details fly right out of my brain. i think it's cuz when i read a book, i read it too quickly because i can't put it down, then i read another book and i kinda forget what happened after a while. i guess i read too much, too quickly.

Is that such a bad problem? I'm reading all the time. I try to make notes on Goodreads about the books and what happened in them so I'm ready for the sequels, but it doesn't always work.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) I know what you mean, I read so much and so quickly that I tend to forget the details or even what it was about in general! I only remember if I liked them or not. I don't even bother trying to make notes, usually when I pick up the sequel or the next in the series as I start to read all the details from the previous book(s) come back to me.

I've done that and the details haven't come back. So I'm reading going, "Uh, crap. Maybe I should've reread the other one." That's when it really sucks.

message 8: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Oh, that does really suck. I'm really grateful for this little ability I have, as I really don't like rereading books. There's a bunch of books that don't bother me to reread, but I try not to since there's so many books I'd like to read.

I don't reread every book. Just the ones I feel a connection to. I have certain books that I've read over 10 times because I love the characters or a particular scene or something. I love those.

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Oh okay, that makes sense.

Yeah. If I don't like I book, I won't bother rereading it. Typically, I reread more romantic books because I like reliving their moments: the first kiss, the denied attraction, etc. You don't have to reread the whole book to get those. Just jump to those pages.

message 12: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Yea, that's true. :)

Amanda (amandag123) i agree, i love books i can reread all over again and enjoy. especially going back to my favorite parts. that's when you know it's a great book, when you don't mind rereading it 10 thousand times. haha
