Thanks, Craig. Nice interview. I hope she lives at least another 10 years and can squeeze out another book or two. She's one of my favorite mystery writers.
Thanks Craig. I'll take a look later this afternoon when I have a minute.
ETA: That was nice, Craig. That must have been a splendid experience for you. I hope she gets a few more books out as well, Lobstergirl.

I've got to say, it's probably the only time I've been fairly nervous before an interview - and I've interviewed Super Bowl winning former NFL players, All Blacks (NZ's rugby team - biggest sports stars down this way), pro beach volleyballers, authors like Lee Child, James Lee Burke, Val McDermid and many others, former Prime Ministers and other high-ranking politicians etc... stacks of wonderful, fascinating, high-achieving people...But it's not often you get the chance to interview a true living legend.

So ngā mihi rā i tō rā whānau, e te tau from Aotearoa PD James - we hope you have many more.
To mark this very special occasion, I published a very special 9mm interview with the birthday Baroness on my Crime Fiction website.
I was fortunate enough to be granted the only Australian or New Zealand interview with Baroness James in the lead-up to her 90th birthday celebrations. Parts of that hourlong interview have been utilised for a feature that is in the September issue of Good Reading, which will hit shelves soon - so keep an eye out for that - those of you in NZ and Australia.
Another part was published today on Crime Watch
It was a real privilege to interview such a living legend of the crime fiction world, so I hope you all enjoy this special 9mm interview.
