Do you hate Jacob or do you like Jacob Black?

Personally I HATE JACOB BLACK WITH PASSION!!!!

I kinda feel bad for him. I mean, he was so nice to bella the whole time!

I love him to death. I do not hate him at all... I admire him for his endurance and will power... I love the fact that he has a human personality... he's real.

That's true...but it's hard to compare him to Edward...I can't help but say I've fallen in love with the vampires...Go Alice!!! *cough* ahem...

I don't like Jacob, but I want him to be okay in the end. He should get a girlfriend... but not Bella. Maybe that werewolf chick... ?

I agree, but at the same time, he's a sympathetic character. It's hard to pick sides.

Maddie...THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENT! That is exactly how I feel. I am on Edward's side and I think that Jacob needs to stop insinuating himself into their space and accept the fact that she loves another. She loved him before she even started hanging out with Jacob and even though he's 16, he should have obviously realized she was rebounding. You don't have to be an adult to get that. Her love left her for a reason she didn't quite understand and she went out to La Push because she needed him to help her with a project. How'd that turn to 'OH I LOVE JACOB AND EDWARD?!"

And I think he knew it was too late as well. He should have figured that one out after she chased down the Cullens' car because she thought Edward was back. She loves another and he should accept it and try to find his love.

I so do not think he imprinted on Bella because it's a first sight thing and after his first change, he would have fallen head over heels and blabbed everything. That's how imprinting works so that he's imprinted on her stuff is so not even true.

Hannah, I think he should wait to imprint cuz I'm sure it will come. We all want to be loved and be in love but it'll come when it's time, not by you forcing somebody to choose when she chose way before you even got all hot looking.

I personally liked Jacob in Twilight. He wasn't an a-hole yet and he was really nice. Even in New Moon, until he changed, he seemed really nice. Then he started acting like a jerk and I started disliking him. In Eclipse, I wanted to throw the book across the room at his antics. I wanted to slap Bella for saying she loved him as well as Edward and I wanted to smack Edward for sitting there and allowing her to say that to him without telling her to choose. She used Jacob but he should have known when to give it up. He made himself look exactly his age. Edward has lived longer but I never met a more obnoxious 16 year old and I've been long past 16!

No I don't think that it's fair to hate Jacob. Why would you? If you loved someone and thought that there might be a chance, wouldn't you fight for them? Of course I think Bella and Edward should be together but give Jacob a break. Bella was broke, shattered when she came to him. He was there for her conforted her made her happy. SOmeone with that kind of love and devotion in them doesn't deserve hate just pity. Both he and Bella never thought that Edward would come back so how would any of you react if the one you loved, someone you were happy with (and who was happy with you) suddenly abandoned you for someone who had broken her heart so completely that she couldn't funtion for months? I see where Jacob is coming from. He's only acting the way a 16 year old, first time in love, betrayed, heartbroken, immature, hurt, embarrassed boy would act. He feels like it's a slap in the face and I don't blame him. I agree that he is immature about some things but he's also a good person. I hope he can heal his broken heart and finally be happy without Bella.

Besides, if Edward had not come back, she would have been with Jacob. He wasn't just a rebound, she felt affection for him even when she very first met him in Eclipse. She could be herself around him and he made her happy. Not in that way at first but I think it IS possible to love two people. They are complete opposites and she loves their differences. Like I said before, I love Edward, he's perfect, but I also would love to have a best friend just like Jacob. SOmeone fun and sarcastic and down to earth.
