This is a hard choice for me, because I read much of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series for the first time in July. However, I’ve got to vote for A.J. Gallagher in Suzanne Brockmann’s Infamous. He’s not paranormal nor so very dangerous, but he is hot and lovable, especially his relationship with the ghost.
US Navy SEAL Mike Muldoon from the Troubleshooter Series of Brockmann -- definitely Mike!"He was a man who knew what women liked, and that was more than evident -- he kissed like a pro. He kissed her with the same self-confidence that had impressed her so completely when he took command of a team of men. Long, slow, sexy, soul-deep kisses designed to light her on fire -- as if she weren't already in flames."

Pamela, this series looks good. Thanks for calling it to my attention.
Sad part, our County Library system doesn't carry the first one, and I always like to read them in order if I can. Well, I'll just wishlist it and see what comes up.

I read the first one a while back and never read the 2nd. 3rd and 4th were from my library. I'm still hoping to read #2 but its on my wishlist at PBS.

I was all about Qhuinn and Blay. They're story is so sweet and heart-breaking.
Jessa, given the limitations of the general romance-buying public, it would be hard for Ward to give Q and Blay an HEA. Suzanne Brockmann managed for Jules and Robin, but I don't know if it affected her sales.
I know JR Ward is having a lot of discussion with her publisher about the Blay and Qhuinn book. If she can't write a full length then she will just put out a novella that will only be their story (no other side plots going on) so BDB fans that don't feel comfortable with it can just skip over it without missing any important plots.
July is a hard month! It's between Max from Bonds of Justice or Synn from Born of Fire (The League, #2) They were both great heros! I really can't choose this month! :)
I've narrowed it down to Randy from
or Max from
. Both H's stole my heart in totally different ways.

I've never read the Super Romances before and I'm plowing through them like candy. :)

loves it :) The super romances have depth that I didn't expect.

These days I only read series romances if they are the work of someone whose longer books I buy... like Rachel Lee. I own all the early series work of Lori Foster, Nora Roberts, Jayne Ann Krentz, Linda Howard, Elizabeth Lowell, and I'm acquiring Suzanne Brockmann's and Robyn Carr's now. I used to have all of Sandra Brown's but they got ruined in a flood, including the two I had her autograph when she came to town.
Sometimes I don't like the early series work of someone whose later work I enjoy... right now I'm reading the re-released early work of Janet Evanovich, the one set in Alaska was good but Thanksgiving stunk. I have Smitten checked out of the library but have not gotten to it yet.
I think Takeshi Kovacs is my hero of the month for July. He's from
. Simply put, he's a bad*ss. I respect him for that. :)

I know what ya mean, I always avoided the super romances because to me they seem to revolve around kids which is something I don't like in my romance reading. But I seem to be hooked on them lately and have discovered a couple of authors that I really like.
I used to avoid series romances like the plague but I read so many heavy,plot-laden and/or smutty books that I needed a brain wipe.
I would be so upset if I lost my books in a flood. I've joked that in a natural disaster, if given time I would load up my books first...of course, in reality they would be behind my meds, photos, important papers...THEN my books. ha
And you're right about not liking an author's series book vs their other books. Nina Bruhns writing style is so different in her Harlequin line vs her Passion for Danger series. Not to mention that her writing as Nikita Black is totally different from both.
