Lizzie looked over at Luna, her only family and friend now. Her mother was on the other side of the world looking for her. She shook her head and pursed her lips. She hated her mother for what she did but she had to get over it. He was the love of her life but what did that matter?
"What are we doing?" she asked.

Specific. Always a quality I liked about her, she thought. "For what, Lu?"

Lizzie looked up at the sky. What is with her and the moon? she silently asked. She looked down at her feet to see her pet lizard, Maxie. She was such a good little lizard.

Lizzie watched the clouds move. Maxie jumped onto her shoulder and flicked her tongue. Lizzie smiled. Lizards. My strengths and weaknesses.

Lizzie gave Luna a question mark look. "Why? 'Sides I'm full. I'm fine." She swirled her head to the sky when she realized the direction Lu was looking. "Ah. Eclipse. Whatever." She went to stand next to Luna.

Jena was wandering

Lizzie's ears perked up. Maxie's head swung around. "Someone else is here."

She had no where to go, sure she had rich adoptive parents but they were always busy.

"Its, dark, we're thirsty, we have all the money in the world why dont we stop here?" West aske Vince.

Rolling his eyes Vince looked at West. "Do you see anywhere to get food?"

Mina stood next to Vince and tapped him on the arm pointing to the sky.

Vince looked up and sighed. "Find us a place West."

Jenna watched the lights in the city, most were going out, leaving her to wander through the round spheres of light

Mina yanked the two boys back and pointed to Luna who had just rounded the corner. Vince stood still keeping an eye on Luna. West glared back at Mina who smacked his arm, he turned forward.

She looked in the alleys. Looking for one without a dumpster in it.

"Gangsters," West said quietly. Vince looked back at him annoyed.

"A few locals," Vince called to the girl. No since saying they were tourists with out a car. "We're just walking back to our place."

Jenna wandered toward some voices, not thinking of potential danger, she was reckless like that.

"We were just starting to walk along and heard someone and stopped walking," Vince replied with a roll of his eyes. He gestered to West and Mina they walked a bit forward coming into hte light of a lamp post. "Just walking along."

"Um, Hello" She said to Luna, seeing her first

West turned his head to another person coming up another street. Vince hadnt noticed yet.

Jenna was warm and purely human

"Excuse me?" Vince asked pretending to be confused. But he knew the girl would figure it out. So much for trying to act like humans.

West grabbed Vince's arm. "There's a human girl, and not the one that we're talking to." he muttered quietly.

"Congratulations," Vince replied dryly. He shook West off. "No if you'll excuse us?"

She sighed, even random people in the middle of the night ignored her!

Vince looked down at her eyebrows raised. He was about to say something when West stepped in.

"Yes we're vamps, now Vince there is a human ten feet away watching us, and Mina is freaking out." West hissed.

True, Mina was chewing on her bottom lip hands clutched in fists, eyes buldging from her head. She was still young and not in control of herself yet.

Jenna sighed

Vincegrabbed Mina's arm and yanked her towards him, he kept her in his grip and gave West a dirty look.

"West we shall discuss this later." Vince told him. "Now we will be leaving."

"No," West said shaking his head. "We arent gong to let her kill thehuman.

"We dont have time for this," Vince groaned.

"If I knew what was good for me I'd in bed asleep"

"Why?" Jenna asked

West was on edge unsure why he wanted the human alive so badly.

"WhY!?"

Mina tried to rip from Vince's grasp but he was strong.

"Please," West said.

"If you tell me why I'd be gone"

Vince yanked Mina away whispering to her to close her eyes and not breath.

West stayed back and looked at Jenna. "You dont want to know what would happen to you. Close your eyes and walk away. Forget everything about tonight."

Turning West ran to catch up with his kin leader and Mina.

"Bur I do!" She said

"Just go,' Vince instructed Luna.

"WhY!?"

A sick sound came from the back of Mina's throat. She wrenched free of Vince made it a step before West picked her up holding her tightly.

She sighed "The sooner you tell me the sooner I might leave"

"Unless you want your blood leaving your body to be pumped into another being back off!" Vince shouted taking Mina from West.

"What he means to say is our friend here is high and very dangerous, she will kill you, so I'd run away." West said . Not waiting for an answer Vince took off running, West right behind him.

Jenna stormed off

"Breath in some fresh air," Vince told MinA, but he didnt put her down. Taking long breaths Mina eventually calmed down.

West trailed silently behind.

"We cant seem to get rid of you now can we?" Vince asked. Mina hissed at him and he set her down. West showed up and stood next to Mina.

"What can we do for you?" Vince asked.

Jenna sighed, wandering the other way, avoiding her home

Vince watched her carefully for a minute then turned to West raising an eyebrow.

"I dont care," He replied.

"Mina?" Vince asked the silent girl. She looked at Luna a small from on her lips. SHe returned her gaze to Vince and nodded.

"Your in," Vince said.

((hmm how should Jenna get back in?))

Vince nodded. "I m Vince, he's West, and she's Meena."

"And West is going to take off for a bit," West said, "I'l meet up with you guys in a bit."

He took off. Vince frowned.

"He usually isnt so, depressed sounding."

West ran back into the dark town.

Jenna was still wandering few lights were still on and most that were were closing. There was a twenty four hour diner and then another block over a strip club and a casino that stayed open late

"He has a soft spot towards human girls," Vince replied after a minute. "I dont think he liked how that episode down town unfolded."

Meena nodded in agreement.

West slowed down and walked slowly, staying away from street lamps.

She was wandering, weaving through the sqare grid of downtown.
