I love Elizabeth's spunk and stength. I also admire Mr. Darcy's willingness to undo the wrong he had done unknowingly.

I think Elizabeth Bennett is one of the greatest characters in all of Literature. Mr. Darcy isn't bad either. lol.
Lizzie is amazing! Her 'wit and vivacity' are brilliant.
Darcy - <3 his willingness to listen to the harsh words from the one loves and amend himself.
Together that are one of the greatest couples in all of Literature IMO! They compete one and other. And with his pride under Regulation and her prejudice put right they are perfect :)
Love the subtle banter between them - remind me of Emma and Knightley but their is and has to be in a more understated way as they are not related or close friends :)

SOPHIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!All right back to Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Fritzwilliam Darcy, well for starters they were both rather prejudiced to be honest but it was mostly Mr. Darcy who was proud and not Lizzie...my sister really likes this couple more than I do but I have to say that he was gallant to tell Lizzie about Mr. Wickham (although I wished he had told her sooner than later).
I know...it was a huge change between them but some-how I feel as if Knightley is much more real and he isn't some dark shadow in the room, you already know him and can't help but really like him...especially his judgments on certain characters.
I love Elizabeth's character, so open and honest. But I hate how everybody labelled Mr Darcy, when it turns out he actually has a kind heart.
Yes I agree!!! Leave Darcy alone!!
But I shan't say anything and ruin it for Steph!!! You are getting to a GREAT bit!!!

i loved that letter.the Jane/Bingley thing was a let down... but you will be pleased with everthing that happens by the time you are at the end of the novel!
Me too, Emily :D Jane and Mr. Bingley are so sweet, they suit each other's cheerful and easy countenance.
oh janeand bingley have the typical pretty handsome nice amiable character. darcy and elizabeth are like fire!!!
Haha!! It's so true! Darcy would have been bored with Jane's conversation before long and Bingley would have been over powered by Lizzy's wit and character!
I always scream loudly about this book not being romantic. Stupid, stupid me. I reread it some days ago, and I was swooning and whimpering everytime they talked or looked at each other, or were in the same room!
I liked it alot more now than before, I wonder why?
Perhaps you just appreciated it more the second time? I am so glad you see it is romantic now! :)
