Our September 2010 book is Dark Tide: The Great Boston Molasses Flood of 1919 by Stephen Puleo. This short non-fiction book is set in Boston and is about the molasses flood in the North End.

We will be meeting at Borders in Braintree on Sunday September 26th at 1 PM. (see the group events) Even if you can't make the meeting post your comments about the book here.

Is anyone interested in going on a walking tour in Boston called "The Dark Side of Boston" that shows where the molasses flood was?

I took that tour a few weeks ago. That's actually how I learned about the book. It's a great tour.
