TWILIGHT HATERS! discussion

Okay, so there's this guy on youtube names "Alex Day" (his usernames "Nerimon") that reads a chapter of twilight at a time and totally picks it apart. He's hilarious. I didn't post the link because he tends to swear, and so if you're okay with that you can look it up on youtube, but if you don't like swearing, just know this and forever hold your peace.

He is totally spot on about Bella having a perpetual need to be depressed and unhappy. Also, her strange tendency toward dangerous activity and nosiness. :D

Just finished watching all the vids (shame he's not going to do another Twilight book) and I loved it. It's made me realise how pathetic Twilight is on a new level. XD

I can't tell the difference between Canadians and Amercians (no offence to anyone). I didn't know Justin Bieber was Canadian until a fan scolded me for calling him American. Humph.

Hey, I didn't know he was Canadian. Not that I'm an expert on Justin Bieber or anything.

All my relatives on my dad's side live in Canada, so I go there at least one a year. They say "eh" a lot... but that might just be them. They also look at me strangely if I say "restroom" and not "washroom".

Ugh, JB should go die in a hole. And my friend lived in Canada for the beginning of her life, so when she says "sorry" she says it like "sore-y". It's cute.

I am not british, but we take more after the british version of english than the American one.

And I meant that in a good way. As in, they make jokes about themselves. They're funny. That's why a lot of famous comedians are Canadian. XD

And some Canadians do have accents, it depends what part you go too. Like in america you have yer southern bells, your minnesooootans, yer New Yourka's, and so many more! Like if I went to B.C., no one would look twice at me because I have basically the same accent as them (because they live only like, a state up from me).
Like Washingtonians and Oregonians kind of talk with a little bit of a canadian accent...

Ha ha, yeah. Um...Well, I live in Texas, but I don't really have a Texan accent. I think. Not really...Well, I went to India, and all my cousins had to keep asking me to slow down when I spoke, cuz they couldn't keep up with me.

we get SO much trouble if we get on utube at school, you could get your computer privileges taken away! which can really hurt your grade in computers class

oh, i wish! but i live in kind of a very small town. it's a good school but the school's computers don't even have SD card slots! they're like 10 years old!

Like you've probably noticed, our school's a laptop school (so we quite literally nearly use it in every single lesson....) but they have youtube blocked. Occasionally when we have a project where we need to surf youtube to watch 'educational' vids, they unblock it for our year level/class. XD

Which usually means an onslaught of people watching music videos in class with headphones in. But Miss and I don't do that, right? We go on GR instead!
