I agree that the Twi-writing isn't as good as HG. But I'm a romantic, and Katniss . . . doesn't really need boys. LOL. So Twis are at the top of my list.
i like the twi too, not so much the romance but not really knowing whats gonna happen next like in HG and Pretty little liars
The "Uglies" series by Scott Westerfeld is pretty good so far (I'm only to the second book so far). This is also set in a post-apocalyptic type world.I keep looking at the the "Life as We Knew it" series by Susan Pfeffer. I've read the first chapter of the first book, and it looks like it would be good.
Life as We know It is what I'm reading right now. In fact, the book is right next to me. ^^ I'm also going to start Before I Fall, by Lauren Oliver soon.
I hear the Uglies are good, and the concept it different. I'll get around to that, too.
i knw, I heard a lotta praises too. but LOL i've only read 10 pgs. cannot get myself to read more. but I have to sumtym, coz I will NOT start another book widout finishin it
o god....well I could probably name 40 billion series but I say my top 10, not in order, and not indcluding HG series.Malice
percy Jackson and the Olympians
Pendragon
Harry Potter
The Host (its supposed to be a trilogy.)
His Dark Materials
Vampirates
Atherton
Transall Saga
Maximum Ride
Daniel X
Looking Glass Wars
Underland Chronicles
The Dark is Rising
Inkheart
Lord of the Rings (well I like the movies)
Shiver
Vampire Diaries
Twilight
OMG WOOPS....that was way over ten and I have like 5000000000000000000000 more!
The Firekeeper Novels by Jane Lindskold is the best series ever! There's adventure, moral issues, wolves, magic, a dragon, and a little humor!
LOL. erm, wat did haddix rite? i've nvr heard of him/her. and jane eithr =/ wow, I need to seriously ctch up
there's a girl raised by wolves, and, to make a long story short, she is taken to join humans. it's kinda funny how she struggles to adapt. her best friend is a giant wolf called Blind Seer. The two go on lots of adventures all over the land, and there is magic and even a dragon! The emotion is very profound, and there's nonstop action. But the books also go into serious moral issues that really get you thinking. Firekeeper is my role model!!!!! The books are written by Jane Lindskold. My favorite series!!!!!!
