Who's up for a re-read of the first 3 Finishing School books before the early November release of the final book, Manners & Mutiny? Sound off and let's start planning!

If you're in, do we want to read all 3 in October (say 1 per week) or 1 book per month leading up to November so busier members can participate too? (Thank you Nicqui for the suggestion! :) Let's discuss!

I'm all for the one per month option, that way we could also read the book Gail is reading that month and/or any other group reads.

I have finished the first two and am waiting for book three from Interlibrary Loan. So a reread might be too soon. But I will definitely join the discussion. BTW does Sophronia make an appearance in the PP? I've read books 1-3 and have finished only 127 pages in book four.

Unless it's under a fake name we have yet to learn, she unfortunately does not. :(

Have we decided what form the re-read will take? I'm anxious to reread the series because I haven't re-read Waistcoats & Weaponry yet.

Just finished my reread of Etiquette & Espionage. I couldn't help myself. I tried waiting but it was impossible, I just love these books so much.

I'll begin Waistcoats and Weapons as soon as I finish Shadow Scale by Rachel Hartman.

My plan is similar to Susan Pola's. Plan on finishing a few books, Shadow Scale included, before picking up my re-read with #2 and Waistcoats & Weaponry (I re-read Etiquette & Espionage earlier in the year, but I've never read Waistcoats).

I just started Curtsies & Conspiracies again...can't help myself....

Kelly, hope you're enjoying reading SHADOW SCALE. I have read about 40% read, and it is as enjoyable as SERAPHINA. A bit different in scope, but that is to be expected from what Seraphina has got to accomplish.

Apologies, everyone! This got away from me. Do you still want me to put together a re-read? We can still fit in a two weeks per book schedule beginning mid-September. Or do you want me to just create new discussion threads for each book, since several of you have already started re-reading? Let me know what you'd like to do and I'll put it together! :)

Okay I've started new Finishing School re-read discussion threads here, including a prediction thread for Manners & Mutiny! :)

I finished Waistcoats and Weaponry. Before reading it, I had several preconceived ideas and the book was tons better. I don't want to reveal any spoilers, but I really liked how Sophronia reasoned what she wanted in a husband/partner. Wish it was 6 November, 2015.
