Q&A with Susan Rushmore discussion

Many readers have voiced their disappointment that Annie and Jackson end their relationship at the end of Blue Ribbon. Truth is, until I was writing the scene where Annie walks into Joey's room at the Inn, I didn't know I was going to have anything happen that would even jeopardize their relationship. I recall being in the middle of the scene late night in November thinking, "what have I done?" and I got a drink of water and said, "you know what, let's just see what happens!" and I let the scene just take me where it wanted and felt natural.

I hope they get back together. Team Jackson for sure. : )

I dunno....Ultimately they will both end up happy. I'll tell you that much ;-)
