Blane walked on the forest trail, looking casually around her for anything out of place. she heard a twig snap and spun around quickly.

Aurun was walking quietly in the forest. She examined the trees and birds up in the sky. She stepped on a twig and it cracked loudly.

Blane sees someone she knows well... Aurun

Aurun spotted Blane. She smiled and ran over to her.

Blane gave Aurun a gigantic hug before starting a conversation.
"so, did you hear about the princess?

Aziel didnt notice Jay and walked right into her.

Blane gave a chuckle at the scene taking place before her, and nudged aurun to watch it unfold with her.

Blane turned away from
Jay and Aziel and back to Aurun.
"well, I hear that her father plans to marry her off soon! Can you believe it? Her? I feel so bad for her, what did she do to deserve this?"

Blane heard Jay speak and spun silently on her heel in amazement. She urged Aurun to do the same and observed the cold man and bubbly girl.

Aziel looked at her "im fine.....watch where your going...."

Blane looked on in complete and utter shock.
"did you see THAT?" she muttered to the other girl.

Aziel glanced over at them with peiricing eyes.

Blane waved nervously.
"Er.. Hello, Aziel! How are you today, dude?"

Aziel narrowed his eyes at her.

"um...okay... How are you today, SIR?" she squeaked out, nervous.

Aziel sighed and walked up to her.

Blane saw him walkin up to her. She smiled warmly.

he looked at her.

"so, what have you been up to lately, Aziel?"

Aziel sighed again "nothing of your concern......"

"oh," she tried to come off a's nonchalant, but failed miserably. She looked utterly crestfallen."okay. Are you planning on attending the masquerade ball tonight?"

Aziel wanted to smile but wouldnt "yeah...."

Blane felt a bit more hopeful. She decided to take th leap and ask, so she got the courage up and did just that.
"well, um, would you... Maybe, erm, save a dance for me?" she turned bright red upon realized that she had said that and she gave a sheepish smile.

Aziel looked at her in amazement.

His gawking look was starting to scare her.
"um, Aziel, are you alright?" she asked. He never showed much emotion, but this was a lot, even by her standards.

Aziel shook his head "uh....yeah..."

"wait, yeah, you're alright, or yeah, you'll dance with me?"
she was genuinely confused.

Aziel looked into her eyes "both......"

Blane felt her heart skip a few beats before fluttering, fast, as he gazed into her eyes.
"Great... well, i best go and get ready now. After all, the ball starts in just..." she checks her silver-plated watch hanging loosely and delicately on her wrist."an hour, give or take a couple minutes. I guess i'll see you there!"

Aziel still looked at her "yeah....."

Blane gave one last small wave before walking off in the direction of her home. She walked for a second at most before sprinting away faster than humanly possible. She was so incredibly excited... And nervous. Definitely nervous.

Aziel sighed "what am i doing...."
he walked back to his house to get ready.

Blane entered her house and threw down her tools and weapons. She kicked off her shoes, overcoat, everything until she was in her normal clothes. She sat at the piano and began to play, with no idea of why she was playing. It was beautiful, haunting. After a while, when the music and playing calmed her down, she rose and strode to the bedroom to prepare herself. She stepped into the dress, the one that she designed to be made for herself. It was just her style- it had a silvery top half that curled into thin straps on each arm, and cut out her sides, looped back around in an overlap and opened to her belly button, before flowing down into a black silk bottom, flowing and long. She did up no makeup and let her hair fall down in cascades on her shoulders, not covering her tattoo on her back shoulder blade. She stepped into her boots and slipped a few knives into them, just in case. It was now time for the ball, so she retrieved her mask from it's place on the shelf and put it on. It matched her dress, silver and black swirling around the eyes and face. She checked the mirror, and didn't even know what to think. She walked out the door and onto the streets, ready for a wonderful night.

Aziel got all dressed up. His dragon tatoos were covered on his back.He pulled on hisvest and some other things then grabbing his mask walking out the door.

Blane arrived at the palace and walked inside, somewhat hesitant to go within the cool concrete walls.

Aziel was almost there when 2 thugs appeared in front of him,he sighed "move....i have no time for you....."

Aziel waste no time and slaughtered them some blood flying onto his clothes "just great......bloodied up costume...."
he walked to the palace then went inside.

Someone walked in in a dashing costume, but... Was that blood?

Aziel noticed her and sighed walking up to her.

"hello."she said, greeting him

"hey...."
he replied.

"soo... want to dance?" she asked

he fotr once smiled "sure...."

she smiled back at him, glad to see him doing the same, and they joined hands and proceeded to walk onto the ballroom floor

Aziel was abit nervous,he had never danced before.

"I don't really know how to dance, i must confess, so just, please, bare with me." Blane said to him. she was a little scared about dancing.
