I found I sort of hated the sister, Tamra, I got why she was the way she was, but still. I really hated the mother for what she wanted Jacinda to do, and was glad that she fought her so much about it. I also was mad at the Mom for talking about the Dad at the end like she did. I did wonder about Will, but as things went on I knew what he was going to reveal. With the ending the way it was, it really sets a lot of things up for the next one.

Mine doesn't even have it. I'll have to download it, but I'm trying to get through all the others on my list first.

I don't think I would enjoy e-books.
It normally means one was damaged or never returned. Or, they just stop carrying it. Mine seems to have forgotten about the Argeneau series after book 12.

Also, it was all set up for the rest of the series. Nothing about the story was resolved.

The "you are my drug" lines, as well as the fact that the dragon hunter boyfriend would leave school on "family fishing trips" but instead was off hunting with the family was very similar to Twilight.
The book itself was cute and fluffy. The dragon thing was cool, but there wasn't much action. I liked this read, but it wasn't amazing.
I do enjoy love stories though (and feel like people often dump on them too much), and this one wasn't very deep but it was still decent, so I'll probably continue with the series.

My only compliant is that the writing was to simple and the ending! It just can't end like that!! I want more.

I still haven't read this one. There are so many books coming out this time of year.
Finished it! I put it off for so long, because the premise sounded so silly to me, but I was bored and read it and I ended up really liking it!
I really liked Jacinda and I loved the chemistry between her and Will. Only thing I found annoying was in the middle when she went back and forth about getting with Will or not. She was changing her mind every 5 seconds.

I agree with the previous comments about the mom taking away Jacinda's choices and Tamra acting like a brat. I enjoyed the unique aspect of the dragons and that it was the female with the supernatural powers instead of a human girl going after a supernatural guy. I will definately continue the series.
P.S. I'm a little bit in love with Will...

"
Hmm-mm, me too!
Jacinda's mom and sister really ticked me off.

I love Will too. I kind of picture him like Chace Crawford (Nate from Gossip Girl). I love his eyes and I love Will's so I just kind of smooshed them together, lol.

***SPOILERS***
I feel so bad for Jacinda. I realize her mom is doing what she thinks is best for her, but is having a part of her daughter die in any way a good thing?
I had already figured Will out way before. I had thought maybe he actually had her fathers blood. That would be ironic wouldn't it?
I could have screamed near the end. Tamra drives me nuts. It's not really her fault though. If Jacinda had told her what Will and his family were she never would have went with Xander. I don't understand why Will and Jacinda couldn't have just taken off together. Set her mom and sister up in a new town and left on their own.
***END SPOILERS***
Does anybody know how many books there will be? I am really excited to read more, but really disappointed I have to wait.

The next book, Vanished, is to be released 2011. No definite date yet. Her site doesn't say how many there will be.
I wasn't aware she wrote Historical Romance.

Please tell me he won't eventually become a dragon...

I don't think he will become a dragon or draki, but I do think he will live longer like the draki. It will eliminate the problem of him ageing fast and dying while she lives on and stays middle aged looking.

I liked it, but I don't think it's worth a purchase (Unless you have some money to burn or can find it really cheap). Like Carrie said, it's not a book that I would read over and over again

Yeah the ending was just not happy.

Them ending up together was nice. I'm just sad about the cliffhanger.

I finally got the book in and I'm getting to read it. It seems to be a very fast read. I'm 160 pages in and I've read for about 30-40 minutes. There aren't a lot of words on the pages. However, I'm curious about how things will work out. I can see how some of you have comparied it to Twilight, but I don't think that's what the author was going for. At least, not so far. Who knows what I'll think when it's over.

I agree with you Jess. I said in my review that it lacked depth, but that's kind of what I needed today. Something to breeze through and not have to think about too much. I didn't mind the end like some of you, but I think there needed to be more of something...drama maybe. I didn't feel any danger for her.
