Uglies by Scott Westerfeld discussion

Whenever something worth mentioning happens, please say here, so people who miss a lot of posts don't have to read them all!

Uglies dorm: The girls talk about becoming Pretty in Kayla's room.

Uglies dorm: The girls are now preparing to crash a New Pretty town party.

Uglies:Sable joins the group.

Uglies: The girls are flying towards New Pretty Town, pretending to be dressed in ugly costumes to crash the Pretties' costume bash.

Uglies: The girls are having fun crashing the pretty party!

Uglies: The girls run into their old ugly friends who are now pretty, Casey and Nadine. Nadine recognizes them but Casey half convinces her that they're just Uglies in costume...

Uglies: They start to have some fun in the party; Jayynie and Kayla both dance with some Pretty boys. But everyone is noticing how stupid and clueless Pretties are...

Specials: Narcissa tells Circe that some uglies are crashing a Pretties costume bash. She thinks they may be Smokies.

((tahnk you Sella-wa!!!))

((*Sigh* I take too long.))

((No problem Heather-la! What do you mean, Morgan-la?))

Specials: Narcissa and Lianna have a fight over Lianna's dogs.

Specials: Lianna, Narcissa, and Circe are getting ready to leave for New Pretty Town.

Specials: Lianna, Narcissa, and Circe are on the roof with their hoverboards, about to leave for New Pretty Town.

Specials: Narcissa threatens Lianna, telling her that she needs to clean up her act or else. Then she decides to use sneak suits instead of Pretty disguises.

Specials: Circe scratches Narcissa because Narcissa called her "soft," and Narcissa tells the others that Dr. Cable made her leader...then they leap off the roof in their sneak suits and hoverboards and soar towards New Pretty Town.

Specials: They land and enter the Pretties bash, invisible in sneak suits...Narcissa says she has plans for the uglies, even if they're not smokies, after.

Uglies- Jayynie pushes a Pretty off the roof with a bungee jacket then does so herself. A Pretty talks to her, asking what dorm she's in and she runs away. Her, Jasmine, and Rose, another Ugly they ran into, spray the pretties with the glop inside glow sticks.

Specials: Lianna sneaks up to the roof and finds the Uglies. She tells Narcissa and Circe through her Skintenna, who tell her to stay up there while they come up with a plan.

Uglies: Kayla also sprays Pretties with glow sticks glop.

Specials: Narcissa and Circe start to climb up to the roof, where Lianna is waiting.

Specials: Lianna grabs Jayynie, still in her sneak suit. Narcissa pulls back her sneak suit hood, revealing her face, and says the usual Specials line, then grabs Kayla and Jasmine, telling Lianna and Circe to grab the other Uglies. Then she jumps off the roof and lands easily on the grass.

Specials: Narcissa knocks out Kayla and Jasmine and waits for Lianna and Circe at the bottom.

Specials: Lianna comes down from the roof with Jasmine and Rose and knocks them out. Finally, Circe comes down with Sable and Alice already knocked out. Narcissa tells them to get all the uglies back to the headquarters.

Specials: Narcissa goes over to where their special hoverboards are, and thinks they should leave the Uglies' hoverboards there.

Specials: Narcissa, Circe, and Lianna take the uglies and fly to the Specials headquarters. They set the Uglies, still unconscious, onto a table.

Specials: Narcissa wakes all the Uglies up and mysteriously tells them that she has a job for them. ((MWA HA HA HA HA!! XD))

((MWAHAHAHAHA!))

((LOL!))

Specials/Uglies: All the Uglies wake up and start talking to Specials. XD

Specials/Uglies: Narcissa tells the Uglies about The Smokies and says they need to help them. Jasmine agrees

Specials: Jayynie agrees to help them, but Kayla refuses. She tries to run away, but Narcissa knocks her out.

Specials: Narcissa threatens to turn the Uglies into Specials if they don't cooperate all the way, besides not letting them turn Pretty. The rest of the Uglies agree.

Specials: Narcissa gives the Uglies instructions. She decides to take Kayla prisoner. Jayynie says she's not going anywhere without Kayla, so the Specials threaten her with either leaving Kayla or becoming a Special or dying.

The usual happy stuff. XD

Specials: Jayynie finally agrees to do it. Narcissa gives all the Uglies survival gear and tells them to head past the Rusty Ruins. Then she says they can leave now.

Uglies: They all leave Special Headquarters and head for the Rusty ruins.

((sella wut r u gonna do now that kayla is a captive????))

((erm...I don't know...guess I won't RP whenever the uglies go to the smoke. *shrug*

okay I had this crazy idea...but i was thinking that maybe they turn kayla special, and either she doesn't get the lesions or she fights them off...and then she runs away and joins the smoke. so the smoke have a special on their side!))

Specials: They argue over whether to follow the Uglies or not.

And Circe is bored.

uglies:meet smokies in the woods and head off to the smoke. theeir is some turbulence between the smokies

Pretties: Amaya is in her room looking out at the Rusty Ruins. She thinks about her life in New Pretty Town and thinks of what life would be like if she escaped.
