What did everyone think about The Chase? I thought the series started to get a bit repetitive by the second book. I think the story could have been concluded with just two books.

I agree, all three books have similar plot idea, i.e it revolves around a game.
My favourite scene in Book 2- the part where Julian and Jenny danced in a ball....(it reminds me of Jareth and Sarah from 'The Labyrinth' when they dance in a masquerade ball....=) )

I DONT agree, I thought that it was a good idea to continue...The fact is, it develop's Tom, Dee, Michael, Audrey, and Zach's characters, which was needed. Each character became independent... for more check out the site devoted to Forbidden Game:
