I'm in! I'm going to try and read 12 books in December! I realize that's nothing compared to the reading goddesses here who read 20-30 books, but it's a good goal for me!!!!:-)

Gosh, Bekah! I'm only on book #3 for November. I'm thinking of really cutting down on my December book count commitment.
I'm in. I have a few Christmas books set aside so I will start with them. I'm not doing well with Nov. either. :(

Dhes, you are killing me with all these challenges! You know I can't resist!I'm totally in! :D
Not sure how many I'm going to commit to, though, since I've been going kinda slow this month D:
I'm in, but have no idea how many books to commit to, or what my challenge will be. Including some holiday books sounds good! One book for sure will be Zinnia so I can finally complete my A-Z Book Challenge before Dec. 31!!
I know what you mean, Leah. I'm not done with book 3 yet. But, I've been reading other things, short stories and the such.
Nice, BJ!!! I'm going to have to start winging it, rather than choosing certain books. I'm struggling this month.

too!"LOL! Why am I not surprised. I can't wait to read it.
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "In December, I'm not listing any books ahead of time! I'm just going to shoot for 12 books."WOW, that's a lot! I hope to read more than 5 but I don't want to commit to more and end up not reading them all.
No, I know what you mean. My 12 will include Elizabeth Hoyt's Legends series, Ten Ways to be Adored, Archangel's Kiss, and 4 Rough Riders books, so I am SURE I'll be able to reach that goal ;)

And Archangel's Kiss won't take up much time :)
I agree. I am trying to read all my pot luck books, but it has been crazy busy. I read a ton of books in October
With the grandbaby being born, all that up and down the hill to visit... I lost a whole week it seems! Plus the past few days have been busy putting together challenges and stuff. But I'm looking forward to some down time tonight and tomorrow to do nothing but read :)

Thanks, Leah! He's a doll! 6 weeks early, but he's finally home after a little over a week in NICU :) There are some pictures in my status updates somewhere. LOL
I'm in, but I still need to decide what I'll be doing. I considered challenging myself to read 12 Christmas books, but I'm afraid of getting burned out. Maybe I should go for 4 or 6... Decisions, decisions...

That would probably burn me out, too, Dina. What about some books about or during Christmas? The character's names can be Kris, Nick, Klaus. Toy makers, elfs, giving things anonymously like money to charity. Men with beards, wives who like to bake, ... just some ideas.

Those are great ideas, UM. Thanks! :)
Alycia wrote: "10 Ways is good too although I liked book 1 better"Alycia, I felt the same way, but from what Sarah said, I think book 3 will wrap everything up nicely.
I just bought 11 books... no, 13 books from fictionwise.com because they're 50% off. The code is nov122010 and it says it ends today.
You're just getting yourself ready for your New Year's no-buying-books resolution, aren't you? Smart girl! ;)
