What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Ok, this was read to us in class in the mid- to late-nineties. I think the title was "Remember Me", but I haven't been able to find it without the author's name.
Anyway, this girl gets caught shoplifting and she's sentenced with community service at a hospice where she meets this guy and they fall in love. Please help!
