I'm also reading A Hope Undaunted and since I've liked all of this author's other books, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to recommend this one. It's technically not a YA, but she has a lot of teen fans.

That's how I felt too! Like we're so dead. Creepy!

Have you read Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow yet? It's a retelling of a folk tale I believe. I know there are a couple out there based on the same one. East is another. I'm enjoying Sun and Moon so far.

I liked that author, Jessica Day George's book Princess of the Midnight Ball.
It was really good. My library doesn't have Sun and Moon, so I'll have to try to buy it when I can. :-)

I just finished it. I really enjoyed it! It definitely has fantasy elements, but didn't feel over the top.
I haven't read anything else by JDG, I'll have to check out Princess of the Midnight Ball!

I've read it ;] It's been awhile, though.. I remember liking it. I had to read it for one of my college classes

Im currently reading Kiss me, Kill me. I just started it today, but it seems pretty interesting so far(:

I read it (but not recently, I think I read it like 2 years ago or something) but I really enjoyed it. I like Sci Fi mostly (dystopian stuff- since its popular now) so it was diffrent for me too.

What'd you think of Jessica's?

Oh good. I'll move it up on my TBR list!

Are those books appropriate for 6-8 middle school library?

I am not sure if I am the one to answer if it’s appropriate for those age groups. There really is nothing in the book that I would consider not appropriate for the age group however there are a couple "romance scenes" that are a little intense. I would say I would allow my daughter at the age of 14 to read but not any younger, but I am more picky than most over what my children read. I would say it’s comparable to Twilight, if that helps. Sorry for the rambling!

I love Beatiful Creatures. How is Tigers Curse. I thought that one looked interesting.
I just started Darklight

and i'm now reading

I like both of those books. :) I couldn't put

And I enjoyed

and really liking it. I wasn't sure I would because a lot of people said the beginning is really slow. It's true, not much happens in the first 300 pages, but I still found it really intriguing.
