I write a lot, but never to the point of getting anything published (although if I can get my health stabilized, I'd like to get something finished and maybe try to go the next steps with it). But I'd like to join in the conversation - I'm always very, very fascinated with hearing authors discuss their writing process and different aspects of both writing and publishing (there are several authors on LiveJournal I follow for this as well).
There are more than that - I know that Michael J. Sullivan is on reddit, I, J.D. Hallowell, am on reddit, Brandon Sanderson, Myke Cole and Peter V. Brett are there,Moses Siregar III is there, Robin Hobb is there...and they are all on here, too. I hope I didn't leave too many people out. If you hang out in r/fantasy and r/writing, you'll find lots of authors, many of whom were introduced to reddit through AMA's, but liked it enough to hang around. I don't know if they've seen this thread, though.
I'm an author over on Reddit, although I'm just tentatively sticking my toe in there to test the water!Pleased to meet you all. Tony Schumacher

Could we get a folder in this group for authors to mention their works (so we keep it out of every post we ever make)? No one else has to read it if they don't want to. We'll talk amongst ourselves. We do it everywhere else. :P
