CollegeTracks seniors and College Success members, here are the criteria for earning points and prizes for reading over winter break:
1) Choose a book that looks interesting to you, and include the title and author in each blog post. 2) Blog twice about the book on this discussion board (create a "new" topic). 1 blog = 5 points. 10 points (2 blogs) = 1 gift card. 3) Blog once during the first half of the book. Blog once during the second half of the book. 4) Blog entries must be at least 1 PARAGRAPH. They must be thoughtful and meaningful. Some examples of what a thoughtful/meaningful blog entry might include are: -My first impressions of this book are... because... -I was attracted to this book because... -I can relate to the character, ..., because... -I am confused about ... because... -I am intrigued by... because... -I wonder why... -I was really surprised by... because... -The ending of the book was/was not satisfying to me because... -This book reminds me of... because... -This book has changed my perspective on ... because... 5) Repeat for more points and more prizes!
