Hmm...joined Goodreads because of my 7th/8th grade English teacher and joined this group because it was made by a friend and was about writing! :) A good book that I read recently was Elephant Run by Roland Smith. :)

My name is George. I joined Goodreads in 2012. I'm sorry I'm just now getting around to introducing myself. One of my friends from Facebook introduced me to this site. I've enjoyed seeing what people are reading. It's givene some ideas on building a reading list. I'm also interested in what people are writing. I write short stories. I'll try to put excerpts at a time to let you know what you think. The last good book I read was "The Silver Linings Playbook" by Matthew Quick. I wanted to read the book before watching the movie. The book was fantastic. I have yet to see the movie.
