message 1: by Silver (new)

Silver Sorry, I know, another writing topic, but this didn't fit into either of the others. I've really only written one of these and it's very depressing but here it is and Sara has already read it: http://www.teenink.com/nonfiction/mem...

That's very moving Silver. I'm glad you tried to remember her, like Barbara said, instead of trying to forget what happened.

message 3: by Silver (new)

Silver wow Barbara that's really really sad and extremely terrifying for me because I have a best friend (I was so lucky to meet her - she was also in need of a friend) and I'm terrified of losing her (it's my worst fear) and she's very much into horses and horse riding and cleaning out peoples' horses' stalls for them for free... one time when she was younger she was riding a horse and she says she heard the Holy Spirit say "Elisabeth, get off the horse." So she got off the horse, and then the horse rolled over. isn't that weird?

and writing that helped me to get over it and I'm fine now except occasionally when I unexpectedly remember.

message 4: by Silver (new)

Silver I don't really know what to say to that either... lol

message 5: by Silver (new)

Silver she's very very particular about it being spelled with an S. my middle name is spelled with a Z.

I don't know what I would do without her though. It's so amazing, all my life I really wanted a close friend and a sister and now I have both, although my friend does not live on my street - she lives about a half hour away.

message 6: by Silver (new)

Silver Really?

I know my friend didn't make it up. She never makes things up and has never lied to me. I'm finally beyond the point where I believe everything people tell me... I also know there is no way I can possibly prove this to you, especially over the internet.

message 7: by Silver (new)

Silver Is it realistic fiction or fantasy? I'm writing a fantasy novel right now. I'm trying to finish it by Christmas so I can give the first rough draft to my twin (who, btw, is 9 months younger than me but taller than me) who really wants to read it.

I need to go take a shower, bbs

message 8: by Silver (new)

Silver cool. I have a friend who claims to be haunted by ghosts. I'm not really sure if I believe her or not. I don't know her well enough.

I don't believe in ghosts...I live next to a graveyard and it's not as creepy as it might seem. I never had any "supernatural" experiences anyway, and science just contradicts the idea of ghosts.

message 10: by Silver (new)

Silver I love your title Talia lol

You live by a graveyard? That's interesting--not in a bad way, just interesting.

;_____; You wrote it really well...and it's so sad.

Silver thanks
is anyone else going to post anything?

message 14: by Silver (new)

Silver I'm sorry :( My parents pulled me out of school when it was evident that I would be bullied when I was older - they pulled me out after the first year I didn't have any friends.

I'm sorry....
Let me express my sincere wishes for a better life later, that you will look back on this time and remember it as not being as bad as you thought it was, and that you won't be sad any more, or you will overcome hard obstacles.

The 'sorry' was inadequate.

The greatest authors always had the worst childhoods. Look at it that way.

~Tormiester~ (hatsoff343) | 15 comments Don't be sorry for the writing!!!! This is an Art club, right? Writing is a form of art so there is no need to apologize, besides, I liked your writing anyway, and you were right on the fact that it didn't fit in the other categories, but that's ok! Expanding the writing section is a wonderful thing! ^-^

I wrote an anecdote.
Hopefully it'll get published to the literary magazine I'm sending it to... *crosses fingers*

Well, as long as you mention that it has vulgarity in it, you're fine.

message 23: by Silver (new)

Silver yeah like give it a rating and briefly describe what's in it. like what I did for this poem: http://tchaikovsky4th.deviantart.com/...
oh and link to it so that young people don't accidentally read things they wish they hadn't.

message 24: by Silver (new)

Silver thanks
