Art Club discussion

I wasn't sure where to put this but I was wondering what really weird memories people have of their childhoods. One I just remembered recently was the time I was running home with my "friends" running after me throwing acorns after me... I'm not sure why they did it. acorns are sharp :( especially to little kids who are extremely sensitive (I was one of them - you know, like one time a kid poked me and I told the teacher she'd hit me because it really felt like that to me.).

which means? I think I know but I can't remember...

I ate a ladybug once. I was only one :)

1. I broke a lamp with a blanket while jumping on a bed and swinging around the aforementioned blanket pretending to be Mulan with a sword.

2. I wanted to create an ice skating rink in our school yard, so I rounded up about 10 or so kids and we sneaked into the school janitor's closet and 'borrowed' 7 or so brooms. (If I had known about Harry Potter in 2nd grade, I would have made us all have a Quidditch match. Sadly, HP didn't exist yet.) After getting the brooms, my crewmates and I went to a secluded portion of the school surrounded by these giant oak trees and we began sweeping the area away so we could put water on it and then let it freeze overnight. Let's just say that it was going along well before the teachers made their hourly check on the secluded portion of the school yard.

3. I thought a teddy bear's eyes were real and they followed my movements. I freaked and started crying really hard.

4. When I lived in Germany, I went to a -- for lack of better word -- ghetto-like school. The only interesting thing they had in the gym was this rope that was attached to the ceiling, so one day I was just so fed up with this one kid attempting to tease me that I punched him in the gut and climbed up the rope and refused to come down until gym ended. I didn't get in trouble because the person I punched was a known liar and the teacher hadn't seen me punch him. HA.

I was sort of criminally insane as a child. I still sort of am, I guess, if I sneak out of classes to go to the art room to cut out snowflakes and whatnot.

lol when i was in preschool there was this kid who plled down his pants and started singing a weird potty song. i am scarred for life sort of.

Hmmm well I bribed my grandpa that I would ONLY take a nap if he were to buy me a lollipop everyday after school >:D I was about 3 years old.

They poked me... but you have to understand that I did not lie. Ever. I really seriously thought they had hit me.

well I get an email whenever anyone posts anything and I always leave my email open so I clicked on it without refreshing and it stayed up...but now it's gone

I have very many odd childhood memories... but oddly enough my recent ones are more odd.
You know how little kids run around and act random and ADD-like? I do that more now that I'm a teenager.... O.e

Me too. I was too worried about fitting in and having friends when I was little and now I have friends and don't fit in :)
