Any Sony ereader, just because the integration with Calibre is great with Sony ereaders and just really good with others.I'm interested in reading the comments on this thread.
My BFF has a nook and I have a kindle. As we both compared features, I feel that if you are a library person, then the nook is a better fit for you. Since I have never been able to read within the time limits of a library, it did not appeal to me.
Out of curiosity, how does the system work regarding borrowing eBooks from libraries? Our titles are available in a number of library systems, however we're still puzzled as to how it works. Thanks in advance for educating us regarding eBook borrowing at libraries!
I have looked into it in my area and there is a website for our area library.http://digitalcatalog.cwmars.org/44DF...
With a valid library card, you can borrow any ebooks that are available or add them to your wish list. Then you download it to your computer and transfer the ebooks to your nook. It is rather easy. I guess it also has a counter to count down the remaining days left to read it. Once it has expired, the title will be removed from your nook. At least this is how it was explained to me. Since they do not support the kindle, I am not sure.

This is correct. At least this is how my library works.
If you have the Nook or the Nook app. here is a list of free books from Barnes and Nobel.http://ellelapraim.com/free-nook-books/
I have had the chance to read on nook when I took a friend's nook while she was gone for a month, and I have a Kindle. Honestly, I wouldn't give up my Kindle for anything. I don't like the touch screen with the nook. I love that I can check out library books and get textbooks. My 6 year old now has a library card so we sheck books out for him, too. I love my kindle!
