Someone Knows My Name discussion

I thought it sounded a big heavy for me at the beginning but after you get into it, it's a really good read. I'm not so inclined to read books that are this indepth but I have to say that I really liked this.

I am currently reading the book and I love it! Can't put it down.......darn, I have to go to work!

This is one of the best fiction books I have read in the longest time. I started reading memoirs and other history books as part of a move away from the cookie cutter books that are so prevalent since Oprah and other book clubs popped up...classics, nonfiction, memoir and historical fiction are so much better!!! This seems like it will be one of my favorites to pass on to other readers! She seems so strong and I am on about 100 pages in...insane characters and details for a fiction book. I wish I could get some of my family who only read nonfiction to read it but it says fiction on the cover so they won't go near it...I wish it said historical fiction!
