Kendall Anne (dance4life) | 785 comments Has anyone seen Disney's Tangled movie yet? If so, what are your thoughts about it? I loved it! The animation was amazing, and the story was great too, along with likable characters! Discuss the movie here! =D

message 2: by Whitney :) (new)

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments I saw it in theaters with the little girl I babysit and her mom. I didn't like it that much actually. I guess it was ok. But there is way better ones for sure. If I would rate it up to five stars, (five stars being the best,) I would rate it probably a 3. Sorry, I just didn't enjoy it very much.

message 3: by Kendall Anne (new)

Kendall Anne (dance4life) | 785 comments yeah Pascal was really cute!

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Gotta love those animated movies.

message 7: by Kendall Anne (new)

message 8: by Whitney :) (new)

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments zach and mandy who?

message 9: by Mandie (new)

Mandie | 355 comments I saw it on Friday and it was really good. It is one of my favourite movies now. I still find it strange to think of Zachary Levi as Flynn after seeing him in Chuck. Has anyone seen him in that?

message 10: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea Northrop (chelserz) i loved the movie its been awhile sents i have seen a good disney movie and that was sure it.

message 11: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) That movie was absoloutly adorable. If anything was going to knock Harry Potter out of top spot at the Box Office and get away with it, it was tangled.

♫♫☺Allie☺♫♫ (alliwicious) | 1115 comments My favorite scene in Tangled was when they were singing the "At last I see the light..." song. All the paper lanterns were floating around while they looked lovingly into each others eyes. Beautiful! *wipes imaginary tear*

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

OMG.
Zachary Levi?
I HAVE TO SEE THIS SHOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

message 14: by Jia (new)

Jia | 170 comments Disney is still coming out of the dark ages. You know the time of shudder- Hannah Montana and all that junk?

message 15: by Mandie (new)

Mandie | 355 comments Yeah. Some of the recent shows are okay but they usually go downhill after the second season if they weren't terrible before that. The animated Disney movies were good. Most of the recent ones from around the 90s to now have not been animated and many of them are really bad.

message 16: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca I liked tangled.i thought it was really cute and funny. the girl looked better with blonde hair though

message 17: by Rarietty (new)

Rarietty | 319 comments It was really cute! I'm sad they didn't win best original song at the Oscars though. "I See the Light" was WAY better than that song from Toy Story! I remember seeing it in theatres and almost crying from the beauty of that scene! My favorite Disney movies (not counting Pixar) list has changed-

#1. Beauty and the Beast
#2. Hunchback of Notre Dame
#3. Little Mermaid
#4. Aladdin
#5. Cinderella
#6. Hercules
#7. Tangled
#8. Mulan
#9. Tarzan

message 18: by Rarietty (new)

Rarietty | 319 comments Oops! I forgot all about The Lion King. Oh, wow. That's my 5th favorite, so everything after that goes back one.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

I LOVED this movie! My favorite part was when Rapunzel kept hitting 'what's his face' whith the frying pan! *giggles* :)

Kendall Anne (dance4life) | 785 comments My favorite Disney and Pixar movies!

1. Finding Nemo
2. UP
3. Meet the Robinsons
4. Tangled
5. How to Train your Dragon
6. Aladdin
7. Cinderella
And a lot more I can't of now....XD The movies aren't in order.

How to Train Your Dragon isn't a Disney movie. It's a Dreamworks movie. I loved it anyways.

message 25: by Kendall Anne (new)

Kendall Anne (dance4life) | 785 comments Oh yeah, well, I'll just say animated films! =P

message 26: by kathrine (new)

kathrine (scarlettshea) | 391 comments I wish I had hair like Rapunzel's hair!

message 27: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments It was. I loved it. Can anyone believe that it was Disney's (Pixar not included) 50th animated movie?!

message 28: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I know. There was a thing at the beginning of the movie where the warnings and rating pop-ups are.

I totally agree with you!!! I miss boy meets world and more down to earth shows...

message 30: by Jia (new)

Jia | 170 comments And now Good Lucky Charlie is supposedly a "normal kid" show. But, I can tell it def. isn't. What hospital lets a nurse room overnight because she wants to get away from her kids? And now with Shake it Up - kids on TV show and ANT Farm - Super intelligent kids I guess we'll never go back to those days.

message 31: by ♥Rose♥ (new)

♥Rose♥ I love Tangled! An instant classic!

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Tangled was amazing! (To be totally honest, I cried when Flynn got stabbed with the knife....I thought it was so sad.

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) Yes yes yes Tangled was an awesome movie! One of the only reasons I watched it was because Zachary Levi was doing his voice as one of the characters. But I'm happy to say, overall, this movie ranks on my top ten list.

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) Scarlettshea wrote: "I wish I had hair like Rapunzel's hair!"

No thanks. If I had hair 70 feet long, I'd be tripping all over the place. But I would like to know what kind of shampoo she uses...

message 35: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I finally saw it. Finally. Finally.
Took me long enough...
I liked it.

message 36: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahah, very nice, Way. :)

message 37: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Maximus and Pascal were amazing. Definitely my favorite characters.
Also, "Mother Knows Best" = Best song in the world.

message 38: by Jordan (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 2426 comments Mother Knows Best was very reminiscent of Children Will Listen from Into the Woods, in my opinion, but it worked well.

message 39: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I knew Mother Knows Best reminded me of something! That was probably it.

I just watched Tangled for the first time ever today, and I have to say it was pretty cute. :)

message 40: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments It's pretty great as far as new disney movies go.

message 41: by Jordan (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 2426 comments Agreed. Think about Chicken Little. *shudder*

message 42: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I never did see Chicken Little. I take it I'm not missing much.

message 43: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments It was....okay.....NOt something you meed to rush out and see. It's not horrible, but not great. Its...mediocre.

message 44: by Kendall Anne (new)

Kendall Anne (dance4life) | 785 comments I don't think I ever saw it either....and I wasn't ever drawn to go and see it!!

message 45: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I didn't see it in theatres, but we own it on DVD and have seen it several times in the few years that we've owned it.

message 46: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Yeah, it's been on TV a couple times but there was always something I wanted to watch more. The only draw for me to watch it was that Zach Braff was the voice of Chicken Little. :)

message 47: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments hahah, yeah. :)

message 48: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn | 7 comments I think Tangled was good. I liked the girl.
