I always wanted to be part of a revival!I'd say it be cool to do a monthly writing competition or we could do a group read or switch between the two idk.
Writing comp we could have it be like write a love story with a twist or something like that.:D
Twilight?:PThat might be good to do in febuary so we can do something as we come back and then we can do more writing:-)

oh gosh I hate most school books

I do agree that a group read would be good, but we would need enough people to read it to have a good discussion. For a contest, maybe we could do something for feb-march and Eh, like a POP prompt possibly?
If you are friends with anyone in this group, try to get them active please!

I'm up for the group reading! I have nothing to read currently, anyways, so this would give me something to do. ^_^And I'd love to write a romance. It's just that I can't do it in a short amount of time.
:)
I was thinking - the writing contest should be two months probably so more people enter and have time to write. And I think we can find POP prompts online.
For group reading, I'll make a topic for people to post suggestions and then make a poll. We don't have much time before February, so maybe this one should be Feb/March. Please post books!

When people have posted suggestions for books, I'll make a poll.
We should decide on a prompt soon. We could get a few from Mrs. L. We don't need to not see it before writing like usual.

Not really a mystery fan myself Eh but adventure sounds good or fantsy, sci fi...just pick a book that will take me to a different place and I'm happy! Doesn't hurt to have a touch of romance though ;D
would anyone want a prompt like that? They come differently too. Two I've done are Red blank - fill in the blank for your title - and full circle. There are a bunch.

btw, it wouldn't be cheating because it's not like a POP competition where you only have 40 minutes and don't know the prompt before hand.

that sounds like a boilermaker in highschool ap english and I sucked at those! Lol so glad this won't be like that!
Basically their supposed to be very well written essays that are supposed to be 3 pages long and you only have an hour to write them. It sucked for slow writers like me!
yeah - you can do a lot with it as long as you address the prompt, and if you want to win something (why wouldn't you?) then try to make it good.
Really? I thought my other two sucked, and that one of mine was the best! I got 99 on it, and 88 on both the others (if memory serves)
Aviva (Shibalio) wrote: "It's also weird - because I always have to stop myself from calling her her name here."I know what that's like. I have a friend on here. lol.
I couldn't get into it that much but I've read all of the Howl's Moving Castle Series and they were amazing...never heard of the other one
Yep any of them sound interesting if discworld gets chosen just choose one of them and I'll read itLove Tolken and Shakespear so if he's taken some inspiration from them then the stories have to be good!
Do you need ideas or what? If you can't decided I'd say just pull one out of a hat. Or do a really open one like only requirement is like it's fantasy/romance dealing with death.I really don't know but I'd love to try a writing contest.:)
lol Eh and Aviva...I agree with Keamy just something broad like that is good...just think of things that your creative writing instructor has had you write...mine gave us a prompt at the beginning of class and gave us 15 minutes to just on it...I came up with some pretty interesting things that way
