I know there's somewhat of a stigma against Harry Potter (for whatever reason). But!

Rereadingpotter.com starts today! Two chapters a day! No biggie. I joined up, but then again I've been sucked into the Harry Potter fandom farther than I ever thought I'd go (my husband and friends have their Wiz Rock bands and are actually throwing a huge show in April).

I joined up. Add me if you want- I'm Fry. Ravenclaw.

This started too late!!!! I just reread the books over the holidays T_T I love them so, fuck the stigma, people just like to hate on things that are popular. I thoroughly believe that those who read these books and dislike them have a lump of coal for an inner child. 8|

I'd like to see what the craze is all about, but then again, I've never been big on the concept of magic. I probably need to let it grow on me before I dive head-first into the pavement.

And by the way, people can hate things that are popular for good reason *cough* Twilight *cough*. And I think we've all been a victim of that hate train, am I right? :)

That's a bit different though, I don't hate Twilight because it's popular, I hate it because it's terribly written and makes my inner feminist weep. I'm referring to the people who say 'UGH, Harry Potter' and when you ask whether they've read it, they reply 'no.'

-_- Derp.

Though I still think people who have read it and DON'T like it have something broken in them >_> it's got it's flaws but it's so damn imaginative, what's NOT to like? >8D

Ack! I lost a few days! The snow ate my internet.

Aww to rereading them already. I never finished Deathly Hallows, so this will be my chance to reread and finish in one swoop.

But yes, there's a stigma with everything popular. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, after all.

I got into Potter almost immediately after reading all of the Rhold Dahl books, and they've always reminded me of the same feel and fun that Rhold Dahl puts into his books. Though, if you know anything about Rhold Dahl, Harry Potter is far less ridiculous, but still so much win.

Ick, Twilight. We get it, he's pretty. I wish they'd release a 100 page reader's digest condensed version. Though, it'd probably be more like 70 pages.
