This is the last and sadest book give me your opinion on it

I actually loved it. I loved how the story was told in Catching Fire more, but I loved the ending in Mockingjay, although it seemed the plot was rushed a bit.

I really really do not like mockingjay. Sry to be a spoilsport...the only part i liked was the end. that was cute.

I admit, I agree with you, Kayla. And I also agree that the plot was rushed. I honestly didn't even like the ending. I always end up favoring the couples that don't end up together. Harry + Hermione, Katniss + Gale, Neville + Luna...

!!!!!!! I ALWAYS knew Harry and Ginny would be together. and Ron and Hermione. But yeah, it would've been awsome for Neville and Luna

I also always knew about Harry and Ginny, as for Ron and Hermione. When Hermione was reluctant to hug Ron, I knew their friendship had last and love was coming. Hermione and Harry indeed had special relationship, but more as siblings.

IK!!!! I laugh sooooooo hard every time in HP2 movie when Hermione hugged Harry and shook hands with Ron. SOOOOOO FUNNY!

Yeah....Watching them, it was like...okay, Hermione fell in love and Ron did too. He just had not yet realised that his jealousy of Hermione hugging Harry and not him was because of love.....:) I really loved that scene.

oh whatever. harry potter is 100% better. i havnt read mockingjay in the longest time though, i even had to skim some parts bc it was so boring.

I knew Ronmione was coming, but Harmione would've been SO MUCH BETTER. They even have a cooler couple name (you pronounce it like "harmony"). In fact, Rowling even admitted that she would've liked Harry and Hermione to be together, but she wanted everyone to be related, which was really the only reason she paired Harry with Ginny.

I think it's best for Harry to be with Ginny. Harry is an orphan and only child and Ginny has big family. As for Hermione and Ron. They balance each other.

Yeah, and with the whole related thing, if Hary and Hermione were together, then who would ron be with? in the group of 4, that would'nt work and you need ron to be wiht someone you know.

Yeah, exactly, Rowling went with what was CONVENIENT. That's the cop-out way to write! But Harry and Hermione are so much better together.

As for Harry and Ginny; the size of a family doesn't matter - and Harry psychologically is inclined towards a big family that's true but he doesn't just want a family he wants a LOVING family. Someone to love him, and if memory recalls, the only person to truly care about him and support him in everything was HERMIONE. Not Ginny, in fact she only knew him and cared about him because of a hero-complex she has for the Boy Who Lived. She doesn't know him.

Nuh Uh!!!!!!! She's ALWAYS understood him. she just didnt really show it because she was too shy

Alright, I won't impose my opinions upon you. I just enjoy believing in things that aren't canon. Gives me a challenge, rather than just blindly accepting whatever the author says.

yeah me 2...with some things. Like, i really hate it when ppl pull a suzanne collins and they dont have a happy ending. Idk if you've read these, but in Gregor the Overlander series (i used to read them when i was like 9 and 10) i absolutly hated the ending.
So i sort of imagened my own ending, an di had a sequel series where the characters came back like 10 years later.

That is what a good friend is for. Hermione loved Harry as a friend. She never considered otherwise. She supported Harry in every possible way because she cared for Harry as a brother. But she never felt any jealousy against him with girls.
It is not fair if you said Ginny loved Harry because of all the 'superhero' complex. Everybody knew who Harry was. Even Hermione knew who Harry was after befriended him. Ginny cared for Harry a lot. She just did not know what to do best. That is why Hermione told her about the 'trick', for Harry to noticed her more than just Ron' sister.

Like I said, I like a challenge. I enjoy arguing points that aren't canon, because it's usually all that much harder to make the argument. Usually people will just blindly accept whatever a writer throws at them, so long as the writer captivates them first. Not that I'm denouncing Rowling; that woman is my idol. I just like being the square peg in the round hole, as they say.

Everyone has their little things that they rebel about. At least, everyone should.

I also could see Neville with Luna. I mean, Neville is so straight in following regulations and Luna is sort of lunatic but smart and passionate. They will balance each other perfectly.

I love Hermione with Ron because they are perfect. If Hermione ended up with Harry, their life will be boring. They both are quiet. Ron is perfect for the smart Hermione because even though he is not smart, he is a family man and cheerful.
