I blog, because I can!!Actually, I've started moving all of my GR reviews to my blog.
blithelybookish.blogspot.com is the address I think.
Thanks, Auntee!! Rane helped me with the banners and stuff, but my daughter laid it all out for me.By the way, isn't "layed" a word?

Instinctively when writing the word "layed" this is how I spell it.. but my spellcheck always tells me it's wrong!

Another one? Publically. Spell check says it's supposed to be publicly, but I saw an author use it the way I spell it, publically.
They need to get their acts together, darnit!

Interesting, Auntee. Thanks for the link.
In the English language, there are so many spelling and grammar rules that I am often lost and depend on spell check or Word to correct me, only to find out I was right in the first place.
Thanks, Bekah. Technically, I didn't do that, my daughter, Megan, put it together. LOL I told her what I wanted, Rane helped make the banners, and then Megan showed me how to add reviews and gadgets. They have lots of templates. You could always play around with it til you got something you liked.

Not to start a fight or anything, lol, but I always spell it publicly. Which, I'll admit, does look. . . weird. Fortunately, I don't think I have to spell it very often.
I just tested it in MS Word, it accepted both spellings. So, we're both right!
And it may just be me, but public and publicly always make me do a double take for another word. . . I think I mentioned somewhere else my mind is filthy, right?
Our minds must share a space in the same gutter, Shell's Bells! LOLI do that too. And anal and annal.... I read too much smut I guess.
Shell's Bells wrote: "I love it! I don't feel alone now! And same with me, anal and annual. So wrong, so wrong!"At least we have each other. *sigh*
I guess.. I could start one..it would be good for having your own space to keep track of your journey right? But then I think..don't you want people to read it???
I just don't think anyone would find my blog interesting.
I don't even have a blog!
:-)
That's what I think, too, Bekah. That my blog isn't interesting. But I've gotten comments from people who were on the web searching for a particular book, and my blog came up. So that's kind of fun.

Just to let everyone know I've come into the 21st century and I have set up my own blog! Here's the link and I hope you'll check it out.

I'm thrilled you like it, Dhes! I had a lot help from my husband and son to set it up but I think I'm getting the hang of it now. I'll be slowly transferring my reviews from Goodreads onto the blog.

That's what I did with mine, Carol. Moved all my GR reviews to my blog. Originally it was just an alternate storage spot, but then one thing led to another and it's a blogging blog! LOL!

Oh, Carol! Your blog is so neat! Love the top pic and that I like that I can navigate around without being slowed down by too many graphics. Congratulations!

Thanks, Lisa Kay! I didn't want anything too cluttered. I'm a simple soul you see!Gosh, I nearly forgot it's your birthday today!(Not sure about the time difference but it's the 20th here) Happy Birthday and I hope you've got something nice planned.
I've put a message on the Birthday Thread for good measure.
I've been hosting a series of interviews with some great authors on my Rakes and Rascals Blog. They are not the usual author related ones but they have a more personal slant. Here's the link to my latest interview with the fabulous Tessa Dare.https://rakesandrascals.wordpress.com...
It you would like to check out the earlier interviews, just put In the Spotlight in the search box on the right hand side.
UniquelyMoi ~ 1-Click RockChick wrote: "Thank you, Carol!!!"I hope you enjoy reading the interviews, Ruth. They are going to be a regular Friday feature for quite some time because I have had such an amazing response from those authors I've approached so far.

Carol yours is one of the earliest blogs that I' ve been following and I enjoy your reviews too much! And UniquelyMoi, your blog is soo pretty!
It's amazing how disciplined you both are about your blogs. As for the question, I started my blog on a whim but I fell in love with it in the process. And I've found some truly great people too. :) If you like, here's the link to it:
