She felt a surge of power inside of her, elevating by the core of her body, and a sudden burst of water erupted up into the air, leaving the cracked savanna below. When Leah was in the feild, she couldn't control the things that came to life. The surge of water, for example, was a feeling of power and somewhat defiance. The horses were her strong right to freedom. Every part of Leah was represented by the savanna in her dream, as she slept in the beautiful meadow.

The dream was so vivid, like it was actually happening around her, but no one knew she was there.
It was the magic of the meadow. No one knew about it but her, Leah. It was her meadow, her dream, her magic!
She lay there quietly in the peace and quiet of the meadow, shaded by the long grass stems. A smile played on her lips, a song in her heart..."Far away....lalala...."
A bluebird joined in the joyus song."Far Away..Lalala..
Far Away...Lalala...
Far Away, where no
One can hear me...
The Meadow belongs
To me..
And me only...
No one can find me..."

And the song was picked up by a bluejay and a finch and a turtledove...."coo coo...
where no
One can find me...
Far Away lalala..."
She started feeling light and airy as the soft breeze, warm as the earth beneath her and beautiful like the violets smiling up from their green leaves. It was a nice, sunny day...
And look! Was that a bunny rabbit?
She peered closer. Yes, it was a rabbit. But this bunny rabbit was wearing a shiny black top hat. He hopped up to her and bowed.
And joined Leah, the bluejay the finch the turtledove is song:"We are the rulers of this meadow
Now on can find us here
No one can bother us"
And they hopped and sang a kilt dance of spring. They were merrily going around the small faerie ring in a corner of the meadow, "lalala....
Far Away lalala...
We are the magicians
This is our meadow "
when, suddenly there was a snap and bang and smoke came out of the grassy ground from beneath their feet.
"Who? What is that?"
Leah was shaken by the noise, she didn't realise she had just been singing a fairy song of love.
"You sang, madame, and I am here," said the fairy hovering by her ear. "You sang a song of love, and I am here."
Leah looked at the tiny being so close to her ear. The fairy was a boy, he was wearing a purple shirt and pinocchio leggings. Leah lost her fear seeing the tiny boy fairy with hair like gold and eyes like the waters of the lake behind her house...she held out her hand and the fairy came to rest in the palm of her hand.
Leah looked at the rabbit and the birds...the bunny took off his hat and did a curtsy. The bluejay chirped at the fairy in greeting while the turledove cooed good morning. The finch got him a tiny hat made of straw from the meadow.
((wow, that was so not where I thought this was heading, do we have any kind of a story going or being planed NSP?))
((same here, I think the first post is about the girl having a mystical power of some kind...then one day Janeen and I got carried away with the meadow and its possibilities.. ))
((no kidding. It sounds like something someone would make up so they could get their kids to bed by telling them a story))
When Leah awoke from her beautiful chldhood dream, she was lying to her side, with her left hand cradling that side of her face. She became aware of the gathering dusk and the chirp of the birds as they flew back to their nests. She got up from the grass on the meadow and went back home, ....wondering why she had had two visions at the same time.
((ok...here's what happened...this girl has power over the meadow, when she sleeps...then she dreams of water gushing and again she dreams she meets a fairy...))
