NON-FICTION FAVORITES
As usual, just a very few books got multiple votes, and those numbers of votes are always very small.
#1 -----tie -----3 votes each
------- Game Change - Heilemann and Halperin
------- The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks - Rebecca Skloot
and these four books got 2 votes each, so I guess that makes them all #2
Columbine - Dave Cullen
Unbroken - Laura Hillenbrand
Stones into Schools - Greg Mortenson
Official Book Club Selection - Kathy Griffin

I think this is the last year that I am going to do this. Only 32 people voted, fewer than half the number of last year. It is just too much trouble for such a small number, to be honest.....and very disheartening after all these years.
I agree JoAnn, we are all busy but the love of books is why I came initially to this forum. I learned to add so very many books to my TBR list just through this site alone. I will continue to frequent here because it feels like home....thanks for the list.Stieg Larrson died too young, I am hooked on his books, read them all and saw the films!
Thanks so much for doing this, JoAnn and I'm really sad that more people didn't participate. I so enjoyed getting the list at the end of the year when we were on the AOL message boards. I know it's a lot of work, and I'm happy that you did it for as long as you did. THANKS!
Insightful and easy to understand! Your writing style keeps me hooked till the end. Keep up the good work and continue sharing your knowledge.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9DWLZJR

no runaway favorite this year....
#1 THE HELP -----8 votes
#2 3-way tie ------6 votes each
--------- The Girl Who Played With Fire
--------- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
--------- Saving CeeCee Honeycutt
#3 The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
So I guess we could say that Stieg Larsson was the big winner!
