SOS: Serious Overload of Series discussion

Top 10: Hero/ines
They can be from any fantasy sub-genre (PNR, UF, Dark UF, Epic, Sci-Fi, SFR, etc)

This will be another hard one for me. I'll have to really think about my list before I post.

So, which are your 10 favorites? You can list 5 for each or 10 for each or split the 10 anyway you'd like.

Oh, what a question! Okay from the top of my head (I'll probably do a proper list later after everyone's put some down - don't want to miss anyone!), heroines I'd say:
Cassie Palmer, Mercy Thompson, Dory Basarab, Cat, Katniss, Kate Daniels, Rose Hathaway, the girl from Hex Hall, Jaz Parks, Anna from A&O, Downside Ghosts girl (why can't I remember her name? my mind has gone blank, but she's on the list even though she's a druggie, she's still awesome), Raine Benares (only read one book but she seems cool) and Joanne from Weather Wardens (ditto).

And heroes? I'm not sure how long this will get:
Bones, Pritkin, Louis-Cesare, Mircea Basarab, Adam Hauptman, Curran, Dimitri blahsjdnak, Charles, all the BDB (well I wouldn't want to leave anyone out now would I?), Terrible, Barrons, Harry Potter (although not for sexual reasons), Vayl, and Jamie Fraser (even though right now I'm not that happy with him).

I think I'll neaten that list up a bit later and find out their names and put a link where they're from :)

I figured he was the D you were referring to, and Mariya too most likely, but had to ask. The only other D I've really liked was in Caitlin Kittredge's Nocturne City series. He was a shifter (wolf) though. ;)

Oooh, I'm going to have to check him out! For list purposes obviously ;) Haven't got round to that series yet but will bump it up!

Between the two Ds, I would definitely pick VA's though. ;)

Right?! That's why my list is ever changing. I seem to quite the hero slut, always fallin' for the dudes I'm currently reading about. But, you're right, Clay and some others should be firm members of my Top10 list(s) and just .... forgot. Because their writers have starved us of them for too long! LOL! Yeah, it's all their fault. hehe

I love these types of lists because I see names I haven't seen in a while as well as names I've never heard of.
For example, Lucien from LOTU! I love Lucy!! I think I need to hold the book tonight when I get home.

Then there's the other side I was talking about. The side that has no idea who some of the people on the lists are.
