Hello everyone! I'm on the hunt for historical YA books that are set up in a diary/letter format, or at least have some diary entries in them. I'm currently reading Jennifer Donnelly's Revolution. I've also looked at the Dear America series and its counterparts from Scholastic. Any other suggestions?

Out of the Dust is about the Dust Bowl and is a diary in verse. The newest Newbery Moon Over Manifest is a mixed genre book- mostly prose, but includes letters and newspapers.
I think The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle and Fever 1793 are both set up like a diary.
There's also the Dear America series which is all historical fiction and in diaries. (Example: Standing in the Light: The Captive Diary of Catharine Carey Logan, Delaware Valley, Pennsylvania, 1763)

Fever 1793 was the one I was trying to think of and just couldn't!
