The plain old fantasy rp.

There are 5 countries in this world. Aren-Tolar, a country of the north, it takes entire Ice Cape which is the never melting snowy part of the land. Arias, the country of forests, most of the cities are large treehouse compilations it takes more than half of the Elvandar Forest under its reign. Roldem, ( Forgive me for stealing a name from a book I've read. ) a country of islands, ruler of the seas. Arcana, the floating city/university of mages and magic, it is a one-city-country yet it holds the most powerful military force on the known-to-man world. Dan-Fau, a desert country, the desert is located in between all of the countries, most of its cities are located arround oasises, its main economy is supplying traders making their way to another country.
Choose where you come from and rp.

Spades (thequeenofspades) Iridescence walked quietly through the snow covered forest of Aren-Tolar.The crunch of snow under her feet seemed to sound throughout the forest.A tear dripped off her cheek and landed in the snow, making a barely noticable dent in it.She knew she didn't belong in any of the lands.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Tanzi walked around Aren-Tolar completely lost in her thoughts. Sighing she made a small ball of white/blue fire in her hand just to keep herself warm. Biting her lip she thought back to Arcana and why she left it, bored with all the magic usage being used for the simplest of tasks. Scoffing she continued to walk through the snow.

Lissy moved cautiously through Arias, she was still running from Arcana for being accused of a crime she never commited. Sighing she pulled her knees to her chest and sat under a tree silently sobbing.

(S) Saja finally sneaked off the ship from Roldem, she took one look at the snowy landscape and tried to turn around and go right back, but the ship had already sealed itself. She swore and cursed all her way as she headed toward light.

Aranus was wandering, eternally wandering. He has lost the sense and meaning of the word time over the eternity of his boredom and struggles to keep what is left of his soul. But what was his soul? It was darkness, at some point in his life he regetted ever interwining with the dark arts, they had turned his soul into darkness. After a long time Aranus went mad, but then he got bored of that and simply decided to sleep. After another age of time he got bored even of that. For some incomprehensible reason he did not age or die, like a zombie. A being doomed to wander the world forever.
Under him lay a thick layer of snow, Aren-Tolar was his most propable destination. But did it matter? The dark, tattered robe he was in had brushed the snow behin him, leaving a heavy trail. At some point he stumbled upon a woman sitting under a tree in the heavy forests of the region arround him. He rarely ever saw other intellegent beings. It was a rare occurece o he decided to come up and talk. Rareness was also a very relative word. Over the endless stream of time that he existed in, an occurence like this was but an infinitly small flash.
He attempted to enage conversation to keep his soul, if you can call it that, intact. He came up and asked: "Isn't it cold?" - The expression he had was incredible, something inhuman, as if an existence that realised the truth, talking to one that is ignorant of it.
After a few minutes he noticed that the woman he was talking to was simply a plot of his imagination. After having realised that she simply evaporated into the air.

คгเค (fanfiction-green) Aria made her way through the beautiful forests of Arias ((had no idea it was called this before I made my charrie)), lost in her thoughts, wondering what she was going to do.

message 7: by Seraph (new)

Seraph Seraph sped through the snow of Aren-Tolar, making her way to the port. In the distance, she glimpsed a lone figure all in black, pushing its way through the snow. Wondering if it needed help, Seraph ran towards the figure.

(( Gosh, I\ve gotmixed up in my own world. I visioned Aren-Tolar to also have a mass of trees just not as much as Arias. Never mind, I'll edit. ))

Seraph ((I pictured it like that too, just with large plains of snow, as well..?))

Speak of the devil, a different girl ran towards him. He was unsure of how to react, was it an attack or a simple gesture of her wanting to socialise with him? It didn't matter either way, he was unable to die. He turned to her and simply kept a solid and never twitching stare locked onto her.
His face was as if it was carved out of rock, emotions did not fascinate Aranus anymore thus they had no effect. Under the same reasoning as he had when talking to the mirage, he was going to converse with this one as well, when she got closer that is.

message 11: by Seraph (new)

Seraph Seraph slowed her speed a little, then skidded through the snow to a halt just before him. "Hey, do you need any help sir?" She asked, grinning. Even if his face was all grim and expressionless, Seraph had learnt over the years that everyone had their own 'spark'. Some just burned brighter then others, and some were hidden away. It was time to find this man's spark.

Aranus answered: "I do. I need help with keeping my soul. Are you able to help me with that?" - He knew answer already, it is a retorical question. Obviously the girl had no idea what he was talking about, he intended it that way. What had made him do so? An attempt to laugh at his own joke, sarcasm. Sadly the attempt failed. He has already spent an eternity, he has already laughed 3 times as much as any human, laughter was already dead inside him. He looked down to see the snow under his feet. What is there that's alive inside of me? . The answer was nothing. A normal human would have physically died a million times over if he lived as long as Aranus did, and a hundred times over mentally.
Was there any point in keeping his soul from fading even? If it faded away he would be at peace.

message 13: by Seraph (new)

Seraph She smiled at him, tilting her head to one side. "You know, I once had a man who asked me the exact same question."

message 14: by Maxim (new)

Maxim (heavenswrath) | 201 comments Mod
Aranus raised his head to see if the girl was lying or not. Aparently it was the truth, that means there is someone like him out there. The feeling that he felt was interest, sadly still it was ineffective. It couldn't even squeeze a mocement of an eyebrow out of him. He asked to pass the time. Time which he had an infinity of. "Tell me more about him."

message 15: by Seraph (new)

Seraph "He was a tall man in a black cloak. I was... hmm, only little, running errands for my mother. He looked so alone, so sad inside that I went up and talked to him, asked if I could help him. He asked me to help him keep is soul. So... I took him by the hand and led him to my house, where my mother got the shock of her life. The man was too surprised to pull away from my hand, and only realised what was happening when my mother opened the door." She smiled

Aranus kept listening. Was it him? Most likely not. But then again he didn't have any concept of memory. It was an interesting talk, he would have gotten excited were he a few thousand years younger.
"What was happening?" - he asked, he attempted to smile. He couldn't. Why? He forgot how to.

message 17: by Seraph (new)

Seraph She continued, smiling still. "He didn't seem to show any emotion after the first surprise. My mother took him in out of pity, and he started doing odd jobs for us. Then... I always remember the day I taught him to smile. It was amazing the way his face transformed. My mother came home that night, and he smiled at her... she nearly fainted! And a few months later..." She looked up, eyes sparkling, "He proposed."

Maxim (heavenswrath) | 201 comments Mod
Aranus kept listening. That kind of event was never in his memory. That means there is another like him. He was interested, this time he needed to know something, it concerned his fate. He asked: "Did he die?" - It was a matter of grave importance, if he was able to die then he must have freed his soul of the darkness. He needed to know how, he couldn't even remember what Aranus himself was like without the darkness, so many thousands of years have passed since then.

message 19: by Seraph (new)

Seraph She smiled into his eyes. "He died three years ago, holding my mother's hand. She passed away almost a minute after, smiling. I haven't been back to my village since, instead I travell."

(( Who Aranus? Exactly that, he is probably going to attempt the same thing that other necromancer did, but the outcome wont be so pretty as witho your characters mother. ))

Aranus finally found it. A way to lift the curse of eternity, to regain his true self... to die. It is getting boring writing how cold his face is every time so just keep it that way when you imagine him. He looked at the girl and asked a very simple and honest question: "Can you help me regain my soul?" - this is what he was searching for. It was strange, why did the gods make him search for an amount of time that is barely measurable to find salvation? What sins had he commited in his life to deserve such a long torture? It didn't matter anymore, a method to die was right there infront of him. He desperatly needed her to lift the darkness.

message 23: by Seraph (new)

Seraph She grinned at him. "So you wanna travell with me for a bit? I'll teach you how to smile."

Maxim (heavenswrath) | 201 comments Mod
Aranus nodded and said: "Whatever it takes to die."
He took a step closer. Aranus decided on a simple thing, the way he will spend his years. He will follow this girl and lift the eternal struggle that hung over his soul.

message 25: by Seraph (new)

Seraph She smiled at him. "I'm only going to bring out your spark. The dying I'll leave up to you. Well, the first thing you gotta do is look for little things that make you happy, or at least interested,"

message 26: by Maxim (new)

Maxim (heavenswrath) | 201 comments Mod
Aranus was troubled a little, that was hard to comprehend. Things that make him happy or interested?
"The story made me interested, does that qualify?"

message 27: by Seraph (new)

Seraph She laughed. "Not really. Just small things everyday... you might not know any now, but try look out for something. For example, every time I see a flower poking through the snow..." She shook her head. "Anyway, let's keep walking while we talk."

message 28: by Maxim (new)

Maxim (heavenswrath) | 201 comments Mod
Aranus simply nodded. He only now noticed he had no idea what she was talking about. So he asked: "How do decifer things that make me happy?" - he followed her, ignorant of where they were going, and also not caring.

message 29: by Seraph (new)

Seraph "Well, for you, is there anything that makes you feel different at all?"

message 30: by Maxim (new)

Maxim (heavenswrath) | 201 comments Mod
" Not that I know of. I feel different, but those feelings have no effect. " - it was a simple answer, he had thousands of years to compose it.

message 31: by Seraph (new)

Seraph "Now there you're wrong. Find something that makes you feel... different, and judge whether it is good or bad for you. These are usually the roots of happiness." She smiled at him.

(S) Saja finally stumbled into a small village in the frozen tundra she someone stoed off too. She collasped in the center, freezing in her black baggy kapres (sp?), short shirt, and fishnets on her hands.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Tanzi continued to walk and eventally came across a small village spotting a collapsed girl she ran over to her and bent down. Shaking the girl lightly she bit her lip, "Are you alive?"

Lissy looked up at the two people talking she frowned as she listened. Finally her curiousity got the better hand, "Wait? You don't have a soul? And you are all around goodness trying to help him? " She shook her head at the strangeness of it all before shrugging, "And I am Lissy."

message 35: by (S) (new)

(S) Saja muttered a curse. "Alive yes." she managed.

Maxim (heavenswrath) | 201 comments Mod
Aranus turned to the girl and said with a freezing voice.
"Yes, that is the case I believe."
He then turned back and continued conversing with Seraph.
Any normal human would have been surprised at the sudden appearance of the girl, and her eavesdropping, but Aranus didn't seem to care, it was... a small and trivial matter to him.

message 37: by (S) (new)

(S) Saja, with a struggle sat up, and blew into her hands.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Tanzi smiled, "Cold? Or sorrow?" She sighed sitting down in the snow and using the light to help keep them both warm.

Lissy nodded, "I get it then." She nodded and stayed silent deciding not to pry and to just let them talk.

message 39: by Seraph (new)

Seraph Seraph laughed. "Goodnessy? No, i't's just what I do. I'm Seraph, by the way." she held out her hand to be shaken.

Aranus jsut realised he had no knowledge of her name, until now. So she was Seraph. Sounds almost like Seraphim, which is a mythical angel of war. Strangely the name suited her, however the myth behind it didn't.
... Was this interest?
"Seraph, I think I just felt interest, or am I mistaken?"

message 41: by Seraph (new)

Seraph ((I laughed out loud.))

She smiled at him. "You looked interested, but I wouldn't know exactly. But you look less... grey then beforre."

Seraph had a mini inside victory. He finally felt something... what would it be like to not feel anything for years and years, until death was the only escape.

message 42: by คгเค (new)

คгเค (fanfiction-green) Aria sighed and trudged through the snow. She was bored and lonely...

message 43: by (S) (new)

(S) Saja stood up, using demon energy to keep her warm in her loght close. "Where the heck is this place?" she muttered, really hoping no one could sense demon energy.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay "Aren-Tolar. Come we should go inside." Tanzi smiled before standing and gesturing to a small house like structure almost completely unnoticable due to its color being the same as the snow around.

Lissy frowned, "Wait, you can't feel stuff?" Her mouth dropped open in shock, "That's terrible!" She frowned and in her shock hugged Seraph as a greeting.

(( Example: "OMG!" - hugs a random person. ))
Aranus leabed his head to the side and with a confused look said: "Well, that seems to be the case..."

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [lol yup that's her total reaction, hmm probably mine too come to think of it]

Lissy's eyes filled with tears and her lip trembled in sorrow for him, "That's so sad! I don't know what I would do without my emotions!" She wiped her eyes and bit her lip to stop from crying for the stranger.

H (halm) The sun was too hot on Gabriella's skin, too scalding. Her brown hair was bleached already, and had earned a reddish hue. Her skin never got used to the heat of a day in Dan-Fau; Gabriella got that from her Aren-Tolaran mother.

"It didn't matter, it didn't matter, it didn't matter." Chanting this made her calm down and try to bear with the sunlight, for soon, she would rejoin her mother in Aren-Tolar.

Away from this country, away from her father, and away from the debt-collectors. She wouldn't have to worry about being a dog-like wife to a rich b**tard.
